[PHP] serialize an object

hi,
i use serialize() to save my object in $_SESSION.
But i have one Problem:
the member-variables from the baseclass are not saved.. :(
How can i fix this?

i think I "found" a bug: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=36172

i  used __sleep and __wakeup -> don't work

without __sleep and __wakeup -> it is working :)
