[PHP] php and mysql4 connectivity

Hello,

does anybody know how to make PHP work with MySQL4. ?
I would like to use PHP version 4.0.6-7 and MySQL-4.0.5-0.i386.rpm
on a Redhat 7.2 system.

Well if somebody has allready done a rpm package of php-mysql.rpm please tell us where 
to find it.

Otherwise any hint on how to compile php as similar (same features: --mcrypt,...) as 
the redhad rpm  is wellcome.

does anybody knows where can I find a set of presentation 
sildes of the PHP language base(or PHP toghether with mysql)? .

[PHP] Zend

Hallo,

I would like to try Zend studio server as possible support
for the development team.
Until now i found only a Zend for php4.0.5, 4.0.6
4.1.0.
Does anybody know where can i find a Zend
server compatible with php4.0.4 ?

Hallo,



now the php source code is totally visible and modificable
on the web server side.
does anybody know if exists a way to protect
the source php files.
There exists actually a way to not allow the access (read, write, ...)
to the php source code on the server machine?
that is
something like a crypting mechanism
or a seminterpreter module for php in order
to hide the source code inside the server ?
