[Numpy-discussion] NumPy Community Survey 2021 - Call for participation
Hello NumPy Community, Last year’s inaugural community survey yielded participation from over 1,200 NumPy users from 75 different countries. The responses provided invaluable feedback from the NumPy community. You can view the results from the 2020 survey here: https://numpy.org/user-survey-2020/ It’s time for another survey, and we are counting on you once again. The 2021 survey is now LIVE, and you can participate using the following link: https://berkeley.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_aaOONjgcBXDSl4q. Please feel free to share this link with others so that we can reach as much of the NumPy community as possible. Please direct any questions / concerns to stephaniemendoza2...@gmail.com. Sincerely, Stephanie Mendoza ___ NumPy-Discussion mailing list NumPy-Discussion@python.org https://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/numpy-discussion
[Numpy-discussion] Call for contributions: 2021 NumPy Community Survey Analysis
Hello NumPy Community, We are seeking volunteers to help with the analysis of the 2021 NumPy Community Survey data. As a contributor, you will analyze an assigned section of the survey data with the goal of extracting insights to be used in a public analysis report, and/or review the analysis conducted by other contributors. (For reference, see the 2020 NumPy Community Survey final report: https://numpy.org/surveys/NumPy_usersurvey_2020_report.pdf.) This community contribution opportunity is best suited to those who have some experience in statistics, data analysis, visualizations, and report writing. We expect that this task will take approximately 3 hours to complete, with both analysis and reviews to be finalized by December 6th. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Stephanie Mendoza: stephaniemendoza2...@gmail.com ___ NumPy-Discussion mailing list -- numpy-discussion@python.org To unsubscribe send an email to numpy-discussion-le...@python.org https://mail.python.org/mailman3/lists/numpy-discussion.python.org/ Member address: arch...@mail-archive.com
[Numpy-discussion] Call for ideas: 2021 user survey report
The NumPy survey team is seeking ideas from the community about potential softwares or tools that we could use to generate a report of insights for the 2021 user survey. In 2020, we used Google Charts and Adobe Illustrator to create the following report: https://numpy.org/surveys/NumPy_usersurvey_2020_report.pdf. This year, we are in search of a new tool that will require less manual effort, and is somewhat reproducible for creating survey reports in future years. Ideally, this tool will allow us to create a report that is as visually appealing as the 2020 report. An open-source tool is preferred but not required. If you have any ideas or thoughts that may help the survey team, please respond via the mailing list. -Stephanie Mendoza ___ NumPy-Discussion mailing list -- numpy-discussion@python.org To unsubscribe send an email to numpy-discussion-le...@python.org https://mail.python.org/mailman3/lists/numpy-discussion.python.org/ Member address: arch...@mail-archive.com
