Hi,

I have been running mailman mailing lists for four years. It sounds good,
but recently I am facing an issue like some of the subscribed users are
automatically removed from the list every month. It's been happening for
the last six months. And archive is not happening unless I run ./arch  XXX
(list name)

Kindly help me to resolve these two issues.

Regarding members being removed, this is probably due to bounce
processing. Go to the web admin UI Bounce processing section and make
sure all the notifications are turned on. This will give you more
information as to why these users are bouncing. Possibly these are just
undeliverable addresses and possibly the sensitivity settings need to be
adjusted.

There will also be information in Mailman's bounce log.

Regarding archiving, don't run ./arch repeatedly for the same list
without the --wipe option. Doing so will add the new messages to the
archive, but it also adds all the prior messages as duplicates. The
duplicates aren't visible, but they change the message numbers and mess
up the indentation in the thread view.

You need to find what the problem is and fix it. There should be error
logged in Mailman's error log indicating the exception with a traceback,
and possibly shunted messages. It might be a permissions issue in whish
case running Mailman's `check_perms -f` as root will probably fix it.
