Hi Tom,

This sounds interesting! Would this also make it possible to automatically
get the release binaries from the buildbots, as opposed to manually
uploading to the FTP server?

Yes, this is something I would like to do.  I think you could pretty easily run
the test-release.sh script on the bot.  The only issue is finding a way to
securely upload the binaries.
