balance chart with no future

SUMMARY
when selecting a bank account, I was used to see 3 months forecast in the
future in the "show balance chart" (until v4.8.2), but now the latest day is
today's date (see screenshot). I tried on Windows with v4.8.2 and it appears
ok. It seems it comes from v5.0. I upgraded through apt to 5.0.1 but the
problem is still there and strangely, by opening KMymoney, it states v5.0.0
instead of 5.0.1. I tried with different configuration options but no way!
Thanks for your help, Olivier

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. select a bank account with a balance and scheduled transactions in the
future
2. click on "show balance chart"
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
the latest day is today's date

EXPECTED RESULT
should show 90 days forecast

thanks guys for your help and investigation. I'm sure I will enjoy the next

[kmymoney] [Bug 438939] New: In Wayland keyboard navigation and shortcuts fail

2021-06-20 Thread Olivier Churlaud
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438939

Bug ID: 438939
Summary: In Wayland keyboard navigation and shortcuts fail
   Product: kmymoney
   Version: 5.1.1
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kmymoney-devel@kde.org
  Reporter: oliv...@churlaud.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
In a Wayland session, I cannot use to navigate between the fields. It
works on the fields of left side of the operation editor, but cannot reach the
right side. It's also hard to know which field is in used (no pointer).

Finally, the shortcuts do not work all the time (and I fail to understand when
it works and when it doesn't).

For instance, I set up +N to create a new operation. Sometimes it does,
sometimes not. I also have ++ and ++ to
change an operation state. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Everything works fine in an X11 session.

[Kmymoney-devel] No UI translation on KMyMoney for Windows

2015-08-01 Thread Olivier Durécu
Hi Team,

I discovered KMyMoney to manage my personal finance and it has all the
features I enjoy. So a great discovery!

My only problem is about the language (I am French).
I configured french as preferred language in KMyMoney/Settings/KDE LANGUAGE
SETTINGS

But the software still is in english (UI, menu, popup...). However there
are a few things in french : the CookBook and the predefined expense/income
Categories

I am using KMyMoney on Windows. So is any additional trick recommended to
force the locale to French ?

Thanks

Olivier

Port of KLocale::SignPosition

2018-01-06 Thread Olivier Churlaud
Hi,

There is here something to port to KF5:

 https://cgit.kde.org/kmymoney.git/tree/kmymoney/kmymoneyutils.cpp#n190

.and way more a little everywhere.

Since KLocale disappeared in favour of QLocale, the ParensAround, BeforeMoney,
etc. enums that format the money value with the correct sign position are
directly defined through the system locale.

Does it still make sense to have all this complexity in the sign position
formating? Or could we just use the OS locale configuration?

If no, what is the strategy there? What could go wrong? I haven't found the
way a user can chose the type of formatting KMyMoney uses...

Thx for the info
Olivier

[kmymoney] [Bug 391064] New: Adding a new Payee from the Ledger views empties the field

2018-02-25 Thread Olivier Churlaud
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391064

Bug ID: 391064
Summary: Adding a new Payee from the Ledger views empties the
field
   Product: kmymoney
   Version: 5.0.0
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kmymoney-devel@kde.org
  Reporter: oliv...@churlaud.com
  Target Milestone: ---

When a new Payee is written in the Ledger view and the focus goes to the next
field, the Payee field becomes empty.

More than this, the new Payee is not in the list until the action is canceled
or saved. It is completely unusable this way.

Set as grave, as it's not usable.

This is rude and not very helpful. This behavior is not too welcome.

I'm using ArchLinux and I'm up-to-date.

What I do is filling the payee field (selected with mouse). Then it used to
automatically open a dialog to propose previous fields completion.

Now nothing happens and I need to fiil everything by hand. I'm not aware of a
specific shortcut
