Bug ID: 461536
Summary: when selecting "excluse entries" from the "entries by
payee", Names don't get exported in csv
Classification: Applications
   Product: kmymoney
   Version: 5.1.3
  Platform: Neon
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: reports
  Assignee: kmymoney-devel@kde.org
  Reporter: martin.tlus...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
As expressed above.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the "entries/bookings by payee" report
2. adjust settings to exclude the actual entries/bookings, only displaying
sums
3. export to csv

OBSERVED RESULT
The names of the payees that should be shown together with the sums, don't show
as the names are aligned with the "date" column.

EXPECTED RESULT
Names of payees should be shown with the sums

Yes, it is as you say. transactions per payee (I use German, so I don't know
the English names). Everything shows within kmymoney, as you wrote. But when I
export, the csv doesn't show the payees name. The amount is shown under the
date column. I will add a screenshot of a couple of rows.

i tried switching to English, thinking it might be a problem with German, but
it stays the same.

I looked at it with Libreoffice Calc, but when I didn't see the payee names, I
also opened it in kate, and the information wasn't there even in text view.

[kmymoney] [Bug 351274] add graphical report for payees

It's probably very difficult to do, as a lot of payees will clutter the report.
Anyway, nothing has changed. I'd propose it'd be marked as "won't fix" and
close the report

Well, the easiest way is to just enable a graphical view of the already
available "transactions by payee". That of course would seriously clutter the
chart with too many lines, but one could adjust the filter/sort to show just
the regular donors. Then they would be able to see sudden changes more quickly
than by scrolling through an endless list of transactions.

And, additionally, if there was a possibility to select/deselect payees on the
right or left side of the report, right in the graphical view, that would make
it easier to check specific people.
Another way would be some way to scroll through the list of payees while
dynamically updating the "transaction by payees" view.
