[kmymoney] [Bug 499558] Can not import ofx or qfx files using Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499558 --- Comment #9 from stevesveil-...@yahoo.com --- Removing pre tags didn't not help. However uninstalling the snap package version from the App Center and installing the Debian version from the App Center fixed the importing problem with libofx. Also, KMM overall seems to be working smoother. We can close this tag/ticket. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499573 --- Comment #2 from Jason Cotting --- I had already tried changing themes. It was installed when I was using "Breath Dark". I then tried Breath Light and Breeze. There has really been only an initial collection of issues that will need to be addressed. There will be significantly more planning done, and at that time, there will be a more open call for input and ideas. The two main items are to be able to include cash in the investment account itself without requiring a separate brokerage account, and handling "batches" (not the best word) of stock purchases, so you can have the option of specifying which stock (older or newer purchased) is being sold. Aren't the 'batches' usually called 'lots'? Yes. I was having a "senior moment" and just couldn't remember the term. 🙂 In terms of timing, at soonest, this will not even be addressed until after 5.2 is released, and the conversion/migration to Qt6/KDE6 is complete. +1

I verified opensp.dcl and ofx160.dtd are located in /usr/share/libofx/libofx/dtd and are read only. I installed KMyMoney as a snap package. Would an appimage be any different? Yes, that is almost certainly the issue. It is likely that the snap build either does not include libofx or else is looking in the wrong place for its files. If you are using 5.1.3, can you try the Ubuntu version instead of the snap? I think that's the one I have tested, although I don't have access to tht VM to check right now. I'll try removing pre tags next. That won't help, but save it as a possible option once we figure out the first problem.
