As the backup works with a mounted network path, this should not be a problem
for KMyMoney. Backing up to a UNC path e.g. //server/share/dir/file depends on
many settings that are outside the control of KMyMoney, e.g. the settings of
the host of the share.

Further information is required to determine whether there is actually a
problem with KMyMoney.
