[kmymoney] [Bug 422093] New: reports menu

2020-05-26 Thread mark
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422093

Bug ID: 422093
   Summary: reports menu
   Product: kmymoney
   Version: 5.0.6
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: Microsoft Windows
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: reports
  Assignee: kmymoney-devel@kde.org
  Reporter: mentat6...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

It would be nice to be able to create additional report "categories" other than
the ones supplied. I run personal accounts and accounts for my business and my
wife. I have various tax and other reports for each of these. It would be
easier to be able to have different categories for these rather than having
them under "Favorite Reports".
Also on a report where you are reporting across several months have the
ability to just show the total for all months instead of each month and a total
of all months.

Can you use a system monitor to see if KMM is still busy working? It might be
that file is really taking that long to process (I don't have any examples to
compare.) You might try exporting from Quicken into multiple files, so each
one is much smaller. Unfortunately, I don't know any way for KMM to indicate
how far along it is during a long import. As an alternat, you could also just
try waiting overnight.

[kmymoney] [Bug 422002] Split editor and tags view

Hi Jack, thanks for your reply. I have added screenshots to explain this:

1 screenshot of a transaction in my HSBC account;
2 screenshot of how data has been input in kmymoney;
3 upon clicking on split transaction as you can see in screenshot 3. You will
see, 1st part of transaction has a tag i.e. 'reimbursable - mgi Brisbane';
4 I then go to the tags;
5 Click on reimbursable - mgi Brisbane under Your tags section; and
6 I was expecting to see 44.25 from screenshot 3, but do not see it for the
date i.e. 11/12/2019.

What are your thoughts?

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
