The problem exists on both 3.13 (Trusty) and 3.16 Unicorn. I tried it on a T60 I tried to installl Ubuntu. I am not sure what you mean by default vs mainline. Should I file the bug using the affected computer or another working one? Public bug reported: I am currently using 14.04 but I have tested this from 10.04 (downloaded from oldreleases) to the beta 14.10 and the bug is still there. 32 or 64 bit releases do not seems to make any difference. I solved the issue temporarily by downloading the sources from Intel and applying the following procedure: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1276211&page=4&p=8021944#post8021944 This however is a temporary fix and the patch will have to be re-applied on the next kernel update.
