[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1887190] Re: MSFT Touchpad not working on Lenovo Legion-5 15ARH05
Many thanks to @coiby for providing the #189 fix - works great on the latest Manjaro 5.9.11-3 with the MSFT0001:00 04F3:3140 touchpad on Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH. Just had to install linux59-headers beforehand. Let me know if there is any way I can help with this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1887190 Title: MSFT Touchpad not working on Lenovo Legion-5 15ARH05 Status in Pop!_OS: New Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in xserver-xorg-input-libinput package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in linux package in Arch Linux: Fix Committed Status in linux package in Fedora: Confirmed Status in linux package in openSUSE: New Bug description: Hello The MSFT touchpad of this Lenovo Legion-5 15ARH05 laptop is not reacting at all (pointer and click never move when touchpad is touched). [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1545238] Re: Gpu Hang After Resume From Hibernate State With 4.4 and 4.5-rc4
I have very similar symptoms on Xenial, currently Linux 4.4.0-10-generic. Graphics hardware acceleration doesn't work after resume from suspend. Chrome window does not respond, is not redrawn. glxgears and games do not launch. I have it on Dell Latitude E5520 with Intel HD Graphics 3000. in dmesg I found a line: [22663.178783] [drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed [i915]] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... blitter ring idle And then this follows. It's repeated several times in the dmesg output. I'll try. Problem is that it's not happening every time. If I suspend and resume a moment later, it usually still works. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1553882] Re: GPU hangs after resume from suspend
Ah, of course, I have to install the corresponding headers too, so that DKMS module gets built. Now I'll run daily on the latest kernel, that will increase the testability. Additional symptom to the bug report. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 999875] Re: My camera stopped showing video feed since about two weeks ago
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.14-rc3-trusty/ has only i386 packages and although directory name says "v3.14-rc3", inside there are only packages with "3.13 ... rc3" in their file names(?? :(). Anyway, I tried :) but got only blinking CapsLock. Then I searched and found out that one can not run 64 software on 32 kernel :) Then with high hopes tried amd64 packages from "v3.14-rc2-trusty", but they also gave me blinking CapsLock :( Then I tried "v3.14-rc2-trusty" packages with my Trusty test installation, kernel worked but still no video. Just realized that my original report is missing one detail - usually image appears for fraction of second, when "opening" video and then blanks out. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/999875 Title: My camera stopped showing video feed since about two weeks ago Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: 1) Kubuntu 12.04 amd64 2) v4l-utils: Installed: 0.8.6-1ubuntu1 3) It was working fine all the time on 11.10 and Precise Beta. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 999875] Re: My camera stopped showing video feed since about two weeks ago
It took me lot's of hours over many weekends to finally upgrade BIOS. Dell is really trying to make it hard for us. None of the procedures in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DellBIOS worked. My BIOS' version A14. But unfortunately it has not solved my problem. The video feed is still black the same way. My main installatiion is now 13.10 and I have alos tested 14.04 dailies. Same issue. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/999875 Title: My camera stopped showing video feed since about two weeks ago Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: 1) Kubuntu 12.04 amd64 2) v4l-utils: Installed: 0.8.6-1ubuntu1 3) It was working fine all the time on 11.10 and Precise Beta.
