  there is no sound coming out of mine new ASUS Zenbook 15 UX534FT-

  the same problem with driver for Realtek ALC294 which is also mine
  sound card. But even with this fix it is not working on UX534FT. Can
  you please add fix also for this newer model?

I tried #189 and #211 (different combinations) on mate-ubuntu 20.04 with custom 
kernels 5.8 and 5.9
I tried to install Manjaro with kernel 5.8.18, and after that I rebuilt custom 
kernel again with all patches
But result is only one: touchpad still doesn't work. Is there any way to debug 
or figure out what exactly went wrong?

And here is an interresting detail. Touchpad devices disappearing in
xinput output from time to time, and could not work even in uefi menu.

all (pointer and click never move when touchpad is touched). This has been

Hi, I have same problem and probably my bug report will help to find the
problem.

Currently I'm using Lenovo Thinkpad Carbon 4th gen and ubuntu 16.04.2:

2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I have problems with suspend only after I plug external screen to my
computer. It happens no matter if the screens are connected via the dock
station or directly to DP port(s). Also it doesn't matter if suspend was
triggered by closing the laptop lid or by the timer.

There are 2 ways I can avoid freezing after suspend:
1) Call "xrandr --auto" after I unplug external screens
2) Execute "sudo pm-suspend" manually

If I do one of the steps above suspend works perfectly and the laptop
wakes up with no problems.

One thing to notice: while I was debugging this issue I put a script to
the /etc/pm/sleep.d/ which simply logging the fact of its execution.
When I'm using pm-suspend this script is being executed but if I simply
close the lid then this script is not being executed. I believe when I'm
closing the lid some other suspend mechanism is triggered not the pm-
suspend.

I can confirm that this bug appeared in 16.04 LTS. I tried all kernels
and all workarounds suggested in this post and none of them worked. Also
I had same issue on previous Lenovo Carbon x1 rev (3).

I'm using ubuntu 16.04 on a XPS 15 9550.

Suspend/resume worked flawlessly with linux image 4.4.0-15, and after
standard upgrade yesterday (5/04/2016) which installed image 4.4.0-16,
the system freezes when attempting a suspend. I get no response from
the system (nor keyboard, nor screen, nor touchpad), but it gets very
hot, so that it must be running something.

Booting with 4.4.0-15 makes the suspend to work perfectly.

  bluetooth keyboard(and mouse for ubuntu); installing blueman at ubuntu
  seems to be the only way to get both working on ubuntu, a very
  difficult process, which required an usb mouse because there are no
  working bluetooth apple devices; the issue is never fixed, only made

  mouse redetection with blueman from ubuntu, or, at osx side, osx take
  quite some time to detect them again after an ubuntu login.

  The mac ubuntu community is quite insatisfied with this issue, and
  demands a fix; if any additional information is needed to help in this
  task, let us know.

  After upgrading to linux-image-6.8.0-56-generic my RKE2 based
  kubernetes cluster on Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS started having some problems.
  The kubeproxy pods started crashlooping with an error that said

  "Failed to execute iptables-restore"
