[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1908847] [NEW] [Realtek ALC298] No sound from internal speakers

2020-12-20 Thread EVM P
Public bug reported:

I've tried several ways to solve this problem but still have a problem.

1) alsa-info
http://alsa-project.org/db/?f=7ba6e11f4fa1cfad5518a32bfcaaba5f5aff5aff

2) RtHDDumpo
I attached output file. I found 'write I2C' sequence in it. ( to enable
MAX98390 )

--

I tried the test below
1) options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1 and 3 : same results, no sound
2) options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0 and options snd-hda-intel models : same
results, no sound

--

I think need a patch to support max98390. Could you give me some advice
?

Title:
[Realtek ALC298] No sound from internal speakers

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I've tried several ways to solve this problem but still have a
  problem.

  1) alsa-info
  http://alsa-project.org/db/?f=7ba6e11f4fa1cfad5518a32bfcaaba5f5aff5aff

  2) RtHDDumpo
I attached output file. I found 'write I2C' sequence in it. ( to enable
MAX98390 )

  --

  I tried the test below
  1) options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1 and 3 : same results, no sound
  2) options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0 and options snd-hda-intel models :
same results, no sound

  --

I think need a patch to support max98390. Could you give me some
  advice ?

Title:
[Realtek ALC298] No sound from internal speakers

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I've tried several ways to solve this problem but still have a
  problem.

  1) alsa-info
  http://alsa-project.org/db/?f=7ba6e11f4fa1cfad5518a32bfcaaba5f5aff5aff

  2) RtHDDumpo
I attached output file. I found 'write I2C' sequence in it. ( to enable
MAX98390 )

  --

  I tried the test below
  1) options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1 and 3 : same results, no sound
  2) options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0 and options snd-hda-intel models :
same results, no sound

  --

I think need a patch to support max98390. Could you give me some
  advice ?

Title:
[Realtek ALC298] No sound from internal speakers

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I've tried several ways to solve this problem but still have a
  problem.

  1) alsa-info
  http://alsa-project.org/db/?f=7ba6e11f4fa1cfad5518a32bfcaaba5f5aff5aff

  2) RtHDDumpo
I attached output file. I found 'write I2C' sequence in it. ( to enable
MAX98390 )

  --

  I tried the test below
  1) options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1 and 3 : same results, no sound
  2) options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0 and options snd-hda-intel models :
same results, no sound

  --

I think need a patch to support max98390. Could you give me some
  advice ?
