I used Kmail 5.19.3(21.12.3) in Kubuntu 20.04 and DSN was working.
After a new installation of Kubuntu 22.04 that has Kmail 5.20.3 (22.04.3) it
dosn't woks again.
I think it's a regression bug.

Here, with a bare Kubuntu 21.10 installetd I've poppler 21.06.1. I think it
isn't a Neon problem. Simply poppler need at newer version.

I suggest introducing a key in congiunction with the menu. For example, you can
click on the desired activities while holding down the CTRL metakey. When this

[kwin] [Bug 435892] New: Keep activities selector persistent in window menu

2021-04-18 Thread dharman
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435892

Bug ID: 435892
Summary: Keep activities selector persistent in window menu
   Product: kwin
   Version: 5.21.4
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: dhar...@10100.to
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
There was an option to keep activities selector in window menu opened, after a
selection. I like this behavior because frequently (almost everytime) I need to
unselect an activity and select another one. This is no more possible, because
the window menu close itself suddendly after an activity selection.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1) open window menu(ALT+F3)
2) Select "Show in activities" menu item
3) check/uncheck any activity box (or "All Activities" one)

OBSERVED RESULT
After step 3, the window menu automatically closing itself

EXPECTED RESULT
As in several versions ago, I wish to be able to:
check more than one activity box (or "All Activities" one) before the menu
closing

I'm very so sorry, but I suspect kmail doesn't have developers that love it.
Not only are there bugs like this, but also untreated regressions like delivery

Ok, this project is your puppy, and I thank you a lot for started it. But...as
part of a community, I wish to ask you to let us (a.k.a. the final users) to
decide if save password in plain text or binary mode. Otherwise this project is
no so much different than Chromium itself

I was thinkining to fdevelop a fork of your Kwallet plugin to permit this
feature. But I would prefer do not duplicate efforts...

...after all...it's nothing huge or so important...IMHO.

I've the same problem...I've see your attachment, but seems it not corresponds
to what you said. Instead, I think tath the problem is related to the
configuration of identity (where you can store the "sent email destination
folder". Is it correct?

I'm using:

I'm using KDE neon

Just an additional info:
using the described workaround on "INBOX" the external resources are loaded.
Re-enabling the checkbox, the external resources continue to be enabled.
Different behavior in subfolders, where resources are loaded only with
workaround applied
