[kdenlive] [Bug 401749] New: Add a button to the about box to copy all version information in one step
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401749 Bug ID: 401749 Summary: Add a button to the about box to copy all version information in one step Product: kdenlive Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: m...@mghansen.de Target Milestone: --- The version information for kdenlive and related libraries is currently scattered over three locations in the about box. This could also include the source of the binary, like appimage or kubuntu package. I suggest to display them all in one place and to add a button to copy them to the clipboard for easy bugreporting. This is implemented for example in digikam, which also uses a lot of libraries. kdenlive 18.08.3 via appimage from kdenlive.org appimage includes KDE Frameworks 5.49.0, Qt 5.11.2 Running on ubuntu bionic -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 401750] New: Time code overlay not rendered correctly in rendered video (possibly appimage related)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401750 Bug ID: 401750 Summary: Time code overlay not rendered correctly in rendered video (possibly appimage related) Product: kdenlive Version: 18.08.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: m...@mghansen.de Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 116678 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=116678&action=edit Rendering settings. Time code overlay not rendered correctly in rendered video. On my system, this problem occurred in the appimage version of kdenlive 18.08.3 (also in 18.08.0), but not in the version installed via ubuntu packages (version 17.12.3). Unfortunately I do not have another ubuntu version available for testing. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a video project in kdenlive using an appimage. 2. Render it using Project->Render, activate the option "More options" and then the option "Overlay hh:mm:ss:ff". 3. Render the clip and view it in a video application like XINE or VLC OBSERVED RESULT The time code overlay renders a rectangle for as its background, but the numbers are only squares. The squares are also not in the background box. See screenshot. EXPECTED RESULT A correctly rendered timecode. [kdenlive] [Bug 401751] New: Origin of message "Rendering using low quality track compositing" not obvious
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401751 Bug ID: 401751 Summary: Origin of message "Rendering using low quality track compositing" not obvious Product: kdenlive Version: 18.08.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: m...@mghansen.de Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 116680 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=116680&action=edit Screenshot of rendering dialog with warning message. When track compositing is set to "Preview" in the timeline, a warning message "Rendering using low quality track compositing" is displayed in the project rendering dialog (see attached screenshot). For me it was not immediately obvious that the warning message could be related to the "Track compositing" settings, since I thought they were only used for displaying video while editing. IMHO the message should include a hint on to solve the issue, for example a button in the message "More info..." which opens a dialog box which explains where to change the option. Even better, a button to simply change the track compositing settings to "High" STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a video in kdenlive. 2. Select "Preview" in "Track compositing" settings above the timeline. 3. Go to Project->Render to see the message. OBSERVED RESULT Warning message without a hint on how to solve it. EXPECTED RESULT A hint to solve the issue. I guess that one list is from the generators of the host and one from the appimage. At least in my kdenlive version installed via ubuntu packages (17.12.3), the generators are listed only once. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch kdenlive from appimage 2. Go to Project->Generators OBSERVED RESULT Generators listed twice. EXPECTED RESULT Generators listed only once. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358434 Michael G. Hansen changed: What|Removed |Added CC||m...@mghansen.de --- Comment #2 from Michael G. [digikam] [Bug 368968] New: Geo bookmarks are not migrated from version 4 to version 5
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368968 Bug ID: 368968 Summary: Geo bookmarks are not migrated from version 4 to version 5 Product: digikam Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Geolocation-Editor Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org Reporter: m...@mghansen.de In versions up to 4, geolocation bookmarks made in the "Geolocation" kipi-plugin were stored in ~/.kde/share/apps/kipi/geobookmarks.xml, but in version 5 they are stored in ~/.local/share/digikam/geobookmarks.xml. At least during my migration from digikam 4 to 5.1, the geolocation bookmarks were not copied along. Since I already migrated, I can not easily test for other scenarios easily, and whether this bug happens every time.
