[kactivitymanagerd] [Bug 368870] activity switcher shown twice in clone mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368870 --- Comment #5 from Kai Krakow --- (In reply to Ivan Čukić from comment #1) > Thanks (especially for taking the time to record the video). > > I'll see to replicate this - might be a problem of the new screen management > stuff. I think this was already in plasma 5.6 - maybe earlier but I cannot recall. The video was also not recorded with the most recent plasma version. But the problem is still the same. I'll wait for 5.8 as suggested in comment #4. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kactivitymanagerd] [Bug 368870] New: activity switcher shown twice in clone mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368870 Bug ID: 368870 Summary: activity switcher shown twice in clone mode Product: kactivitymanagerd Version: 5.7.5 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ivan.cu...@kde.org Reporter: k...@kaishome.de CC: plasma-b...@kde.org When using two screens in clone mode (either by unifying outputs or matching up both viewports), the activity switcher shows twice when I'm using the switching hotkeys (that one that works like Alt+Tab for windows). It does not happen if I simply bring up the activity manager widget (that one with the single hotkey where I can then click with the mouse). This also leads to graphical glitches sometimes with the desktop freezing for a short amount of time but I'm not sure if this is purely coincidental. Just when I tried to reproduce it, my desktop crashed. Here's a video showing the bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sge3tv4RmNs -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

There is no "graphical.target" in your systemd user instance - that's why. Simply use "default.target" - that's what gets triggered during session start. I already asked how one can depend user services on system services in the mailing list but got no reply yet. I need some of my user session services depend on mysqld being ready but couldn't work out how to do that. For now, I've fallen back to depending the system service user@.service on mysqld. But this is irrelevant for your case - for you its just default.target with the downside you are getting errors when loading a non-X11 session (maybe through ssh login). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 357964] Plasma crashes during login
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357964 --- Comment #1 from Kai Krakow --- I nailed it down to an upgrade of the nvidia driver which I installed along with plasma updates. I suspect it's due to changes NVIDIA did to the GL libs (GLVND), thus I leave this open for a dev to decide: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/908423 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
