Hi, I'm also experiencing this issue. I've reproduced on a AwesomeWM session.
If I start kwalletmanager before starting Tokodon, then the account login is
saved. Maybe Tokodon should instantiate the wallet manager if anything is
found?

I understand. Maybe there is a way to know which service call? For example when
I start Krusader (on a AwesomeWM session) and KWallet is not yet active, it's
executed by Krusader itself.

[krusader] [Bug 462086] New: Krusader Segmentation fault using CTRL+Left/Right

2022-11-20 Thread FiNeX
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462086

Bug ID: 462086
Summary: Krusader Segmentation fault using CTRL+Left/Right
Classification: Applications
   Product: krusader
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Other
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: shortcuts
  Assignee: krusader-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: fi...@finex.org
CC: krusader-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I've just installed version 2.8 from Archlinux repo (the version is not yet
available on the list, please update) and I've seen on the changelog the new
shortcut Ctrl+Left/Shift so I've tried it.

Pressing alternately multiple times the two shortcuts, until the panels are on
the "/", and pressing a couple more of times, the software crashes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Open krusader on a random directory with at least one sub-directory
2. Press alternately CTRL+Left and CTRL+Right
3. At some point you reach the "/"
4. Press again the shortcuts a couple of more time and it will crash.

I've observed that in order to trigger the crash, one of the panels has to be
initially opened on a remote location and you've to press the two shortcuts
quickly.

Probably if the panel is not yet fully loaded and the key are pressed it
crashes. Using a remote location allows for a short time to trigger the crash.
Instead using only local panels is not enough to easily trigger it.

I was filling a bug about the image missing from clipboard (with "Quit after
Save or Copy" is selected) when I've found this one :-)

Now I've enabled klipper to keep images so the problem has been solved.

The warning message looks like a good workaround until a different solution

I've often had this problem too. Is this a Spectacle bug or is this related to
how KDE/Plasma manage global shortcuts?

[dolphin] [Bug 198881] panels and tabs in dolphin

The reporter means something like the "Krusader" behaviour: having tabs inside
each panel.

If you hold on a tab label in the destination panel (while dragging) the tab is
set active. If the destination panel (with tabs) is not the starting one you
can still see the original directory so you don't loose the initial focus.

Tabs inside panel is a nice feature but I don't think the use case is so
common.

I've a similar problem: 2x monitor connected using DVI (never ran into
problems), now I've added a new monitor using Display Port and I'm having some
problems: the monitor take some seconds to power up, until then the plasma
desktop are messed up: the panels, widget and background are in the wrong place
(and wrongly rotated...). When the Display Port monitor is started the
situation is a bit better but anyway the screens are mixed.
