Bug ID: 489053
Summary: KRunner opens the wrong program despite showing the
auto-complete for it
Classification: Plasma
   Product: krunner
   Version: 6.1.0
  Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general

video showcasing krunner bug

SUMMARY
If you use KRunner to quickly open different programs, there's a chance you'll
open something you didn't intent to, because it seems to have some delay before
the list is updated.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KRunner (by default with ALT+F2), open any program with it.
2. Open KRunner again, quickly type a different program and press enter.

OBSERVED RESULT
KRunner will open the program in 1st again, despite showing the autocomplete
for the 2nd.

I have attached a video showcasing this. First I open Konsole, then I try to
open Settings, and despite showing in the auto-complete, it opens another
Konsole instead.

EXPECTED RESULT
Results should be updated instantly and the correct program (last typed) should
open.

[plasma-nm] [Bug 406160] New: Move VPN connections to different list

2019-04-02 Thread Dylam De La Torre
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406160

Bug ID: 406160
Summary: Move VPN connections to different list
   Product: plasma-nm
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Debian unstable
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: applet
  Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
  Reporter: dylamsam...@hotmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

mockup of how it would look like

Right now all connections are shown on the same "Available Connections" list,
this gets quickly cumbersome as the available VPN connections grow. Its even
worse if you also have multiple wi-fi adapters connected, my suggestion is to
move the VPN connections to a different tab within the applet window such that
VPN connections remain separated from physical connections, it would be even
better if you could group VPN connections on their providers/countries. i
attached a small image showing how i'd like to see it
