[plasmashell] [Bug 426126] New: plasmashell crashed from mouseover taskbar

2020-09-02 Thread Alex -lx- Kuhnen
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426126

Bug ID: 426126
Summary: plasmashell crashed from mouseover taskbar
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.14.5
  Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Reporter: l...@lx21.de
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Application: plasmashell (5.14.5)

Qt Version: 5.11.3
Frameworks Version: 5.54.0
Operating System: Linux 4.19.0-10-amd64 x86_64
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
--I moved the mouse over the taskbar, which is normally hided in my settings,
and after showing the taskbar, the system freezes for about 30-40 seconds.
--Normally (by moving the mouse to the taskbar) I wanted to switch from dolphin
to konsole when the crash happens.
--There were no big operations running in dolphin or konsole but a backup
script (cp -ru ... ...) was running as cronjob in the background.

--By the way: the memory used by plasmashell is increasing from 90MB (after
login) up to 300-400MB in 20-30 minutes. And there isn't really a difference
between working with the system or not working with it...

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

[konqueror] [Bug 386155] New: crash while moving files out of a freshly renamed directory

2017-10-24 Thread Alex -lx- Kuhnen
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386155

Bug ID: 386155
Summary: crash while moving files out of a freshly renamed
directory
   Product: konqueror
   Version: 4.14.2
  Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: konq-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: l...@lx21.de
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: konqueror (4.14.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.2
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 x86_64
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux 8.9 (jessie)

-- Information about the crash:
-rename a directory in konqueror
-move some or all files from this renamed directory to an other location in
your local system
-sometimes (~30%) konqueror crashes, perhaps because I start moving, while the
rename is not finished...

--on my system, there is no difference if rename is done in the left tree view
or in the listing on the right side: perhaps "the bad reload behavior of the
tree view" has something to do with this crash!?!
--"the bad reload behavior of the tree view" is already known I guess... (I
mean after renaming a directory on the right side, the tree view (on the left
side) will not always reload and show the new name. and so it will still search
for the old directory.)

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
