[plasmashell] [Bug 364859] maximized windows appear behind the panels on the left edge
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364859 Alan Ezust changed: What|Removed |Added CC||alan.ez...@gmail.com --- Comment #8 from Alan Ezust --- I have additional info. Initially, after logging out and in, maximized windows appear in their proper place. However, if I lock the screen, or change the resolution of the monitor, after that, I see the problem until my next logout/login. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 364859] maximized windows appear behind the panels on the left edge after resolution change or screen lock
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364859 --- Comment #9 from Alan Ezust --- I have a 4k monitor that I keep switching down to regular HD, so before I was doing it right after each login, so that's why I thought it was "reproducible always". I don't have to switch it down since a recent upgrade in Kubuntu where KDE now remembers my preferred HD resolution on login. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdeconnect] [Bug 336043] SFTP: Should be able to browse external SD cards via SFTP too
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336043 --- Comment #49 from Alan Ezust --- (In reply to Gilberto Caetano de Andrade from comment #48) > Browsing internal phone storage works, but browsing …/storage/extSdCard/ is > not possible unless you enter existing folder name after extSdCard/. > Than is possible to browse this folder and subfolders in it. > Everything comes with only root permissions - no way to change/delete things. I can confirm that is how things work for me with the Samsung S4 mini. Reading is possible if I drill into a directory, and writing is not. To me, it seems this is an OS restriction of Android 4.4.4 and not a bug in KDE connect itself. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdeconnect] [Bug 336043] SFTP: Should be able to browse external SD cards via SFTP too
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336043 --- Comment #78 from Alan Ezust --- I've noticed other apps like ES File Explorer, when they try to write something to the external SD card for the first time, pop up a file browser and tell the user to select it, to grant it permissions, and after that, it can write to subfolders of the SD card. It seems to require some kind of user interactivity to grant those permissions to each app the first time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364859 --- Comment #10 from Alan Ezust --- After a recent upgrade, I am no longer able to reproduce this like I was able to before. This might be fixed. I will mark it as such if I don't see it again in the next week. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 364859] New: maximized windows appear behind the panels on the left edge
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364859 Bug ID: 364859 Summary: maximized windows appear behind the panels on the left edge Product: kwin Version: 5.5.5 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: alan.ez...@gmail.com My panel is on the left edge, rather than the bottom. New windows, as well as maximized windows, show up with their left edges covered up by the panel, instead of right next to it. This started happening after an upgrade a couple of months ago. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Move your panel from bottom edge to the left edge (right click - panel options - panel settings - screen edge drag to side) 2. maximize any window 3. see it partially obscured by the panel. Actual Results: windows are not the right size / position. Expected Results: panel doesn't cover up maximized windows. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
