[Discover] [Bug 385754] [Flatpak] The number of updates available shown by Discover and its tray icon don't match
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385754 Mayeul Cantan changed: What|Removed |Added CC||mayeul.can...@live.fr --- Comment #22 from Mayeul Cantan --- I can confirm this, on Arch, Discover 5.13.5. The notification in the tray displays 5 updates, only two show up in discover (I will attach a screenshot). I don't think that runtimes always appear in Discover. The output of flatpak list displays 5 packages, so all presumably need to be updated: RefOptions com.valvesoftware.Steam/x86_64/stable system, current org.freedesktop.Platform.Compat.i386/x86_64/18.08 system, runtime org.freedesktop.Platform.VAAPI.Intel/x86_64/18.08 system, runtime org.freedesktop.Platform.html5-codecs/x86_64/18.08 system, runtime org.freedesktop.Platform/x86_64/18.08 system, runtime It could be related to Bug 395923 where runtimes are handled differently as well. I was about to write that no update at all was displayed, but they just took a long time (maybe 5 minutes) to be displayed. It could be the same with people reporting that no update is shown. Adding a progress indicator, or an indication that updates are being checked for could be of some help here. After installing updates trough Discover, no updates are shown int the main windows, though one remains, and is displayed in the tray. Discover complained about org.freedesktop.Platform.Compat.i386 not being in the flathub remote, although it works with `flatapak update`. After updating this way, the tray icon disappears. If that helps for reproducing, here is the output of $ flatpak list --ostree-verbose -v -d F: No installations directory in /etc/flatpak/installations.d. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=399305 Bug ID: 399305 Summary: When browsing images in preview mode, videos are often not shown (black preview area), only sound is heard Product: digikam Version: 6.0.0 Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Preview-Video Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: jens-bugs.kde@spamfreemail.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY see $SUBJECT STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open Digikam with album where there are multiple (mp4) video files 2. Enter preview mode with the thumbnail dock at the top 3. browse through images and videos OBSERVED RESULT When a video file is reached, it should play back (or at least optionally play back.) EXPECTED RESULT Sometimes, videos are played, but no video is shown. If I then go to the next image, view a few images, and then go back, the video plays normally. Maybe there is a race condition with multiple consecutive video files? https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=399308 Michał Dybczak changed: What|Removed |Added CC||michal.dybc...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Michał Dybczak --- I also vote for this. I think that the full scope of AWC features is required for well-working global menu setup. AWC developer seems to be dormant lately. He also never updated AWC versions in other places outside Github (opendesk/kde store, system repositories), which causes issues for many users, because the only Github version is working fully. Porting AWC features to Plasma's global menu widget would ensure proper functionality and availability needed features. Global menu alone is just not functional. This is a sin of most DEs (only Unity did it right) and in Plasma AWC fixes that lacks which gives use second best global menu implementation in Linux. [krita] [Bug 394877] "CTRL + T" scale pivot point ignored when dragging contiguous handles.

The pivot point behaves properly. If you move the pivot point manually inside the selected object to a random location, you can see the behavior better. Scaling from any direction adheres to the pivot point, and pressing Alt while scaling overrides it. The only reason you are seeing this behavior is because the pivot point is on top of outer boundary you are trying to drag. [krita] [Bug 398339] Gamut mask does not update
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398339 --- Comment #9 from Anna Medonosova --- The good news is that the simple way to rotate masks should be in the next nightly build (look for the 'Rotation' slider on top of the color selector). Unfortunately, the transformations done through the transform tool cannot be saved in a gamut mask. The only way to rotate the shapes is to drag them by the bent arrow icon (https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/layers_and_masks/vector_layers.html?highlight=rotate#rotate). I think you do not need to attach the mask as I was able to reproduce the issue. [kwin] [Bug 350819] kwin crashes when pressing - to change the window
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350819 --- Comment #4 from Carsten Jacobi --- Sorry and you're right, I haven't delivered any input in the meantime (wow, 3 years now). The original problem was recreated on an Apple-G5 with ATI graphics-adapter and the Radeon-driver for X11. There was a problem with the MESA libraries so that GL was not supported on Big-Endian machines (the details can be found here -> https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/mesa-commit/2015-July/057473.html). In the meantime, that has been fixed and now I am able to run GL also on the Apple-G5 with ATI Radeon adapter ... but I currently don't use that G5 but another one with NVIDIA-Nouveau driver. At a first try kwin starts and doesn't crash on my current G5 with NVIDIA, but now I see that I reported we'll only have the problem if pressing Alt-Tab. I did not exatly understand what means this setup of focus. Is there documentation for this pupose, and would it be a bit more available ? And I let someone else decide if my difficulty may be considered as a bug or not. Hope my explanations will be usefull ... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmail2] [Bug 341961] Feature request: Real increase/ decrease indend
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341961 Matthias Nagel changed: What|Removed |Added CC||matthias.h.na...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Matthias Nagel --- Using the command "increase indent" from the menu bar intentionally creates a bullet list. The name is misleading. It should be something like "Increase/decrease nested list level". See this bug #215663. Nonetheless, I support this feature request. Real indention is actually a missing feature. For example, I often discuss 3rd party literature via mail and having a feature like this would help to distinguish between my own text and citations. However, I would not use the HTML tag but prefer something like

[kmail2] [Bug 362493] quoting with blockquote
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362493 Matthias Nagel changed: What|Removed |Added CC||matthias.h.na...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Matthias Nagel --- I am in support of this feature. If this feature is implemented, I would prefer to have not only for replying or relaying other mails but also to be able to insert custom with the tool bar. I often discuss 3rd party literature via mail and having a feature like this would help to distinguish between my own text and the citation. There is a loosely related feature request that asks for real left indention of paragraphs without unintentionally creating a bullet list.
