on Arch with kioclient 5.12.4.

When I'm behind company proxy, which is configured with a Proxy
Autoconfiguration URL pointing to a PAC file, Google Drive integration in
Dolphin does not work.

when I'm at home, with direct connnection to internet. It works.

So is there a bug in the proxy connection or this is a feature not yet
implemented?

[okular] [Bug 307304] Javascript in forms not working correctly

2018-04-17 Thread Andre Heinecke
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=307304

Andre Heinecke changed:

   What|Removed |Added

   Assignee|okular-de...@kde.org|aheine...@intevation.de

The problem here is that the SUM fields start readOnly / invisible. The
calculation works and if you set the fields to visible by hand they are updated
correctly.

In the PDF itself I find such scriptlets:
{
var summe = this.getField("Summe Spalte 1").value;

if(summe <= "0")
{
   this.getField("Summe Spalte 1").display = display.hidden;
}
else
this.getField("Summe Spalte 1").display = display.visible;
}

Currently there is no support for the display property and display object.
These scripts are also not executed. Poppler currently does not parse the
scriplets. pdfinfo -js does not show them.

Looking at them in Adobe shows that the visibility scriptlets should be
executed when a field is deactivated. I guess that means something like
"Editing finished". The trigger has the Key "Bl".

So:
1. Parse "Bl" Triggered actions in poppler.
2. Execute them in Okular.
3. Add basic support for the display object / property in Okulars JavaScript.

I'll look into it.

Hi!
I'm checking out Labplot2 2.5.0 (last sync and installation, 2018/04/16).
When you try to fit your data to a custom non-linear equation, like
Michaelis-Menten's [Vm*x/(Km+x)], and your spreedsheet contains the initial
(0,0) pair of data, you get this failure:
"Fit status: Iteration is no making progress towards solution".
When you remove (0,0), fitting proceeds.

[LabPlot2] [Bug 393214] New: Putting a decimal separator prevents data from entering into a spreedsheet

When entering data into a spreedsheet, labplot-2.5.0 does not honor my numeric
format setting. Since I’m a Spaniard, I have my KDE 5 configured to enter
decimals with a “,”. However, no matter how I enter a decimal number (2,3 or
2.3, for instance), the number is simply ignored after pressing enter, as if I
had not entered anything. BUT, if I just enter a number with no decimal places
or I use a power, like 23e-1, then I get a correct 2,3 in the cell (yes, lablot
2.5.0 then chooses the comma to show the decimal separator).

When I right click on a spreedsheet column, like a Y-designated-column, to plot
the data, labplot shows just that column as the only option for both axis,
i.e., it just shows column number 2 in the drop-down menus to select which data
columns are to be plotted for x and y. Later on you can correct that.

This is relatively likely to be a problem with the KDE 4 libraries, not
directly in RKWard code. Therefore, whatever it was, it is rather likely to be
fixed in RKWard 0.7.0, released, yesterday.

Are you still able to reproduce this bug with RKWard 0.7.0 or later? Also, can
you provide more info as requested in comment #1 ?

Bug ID: 393216
Summary: Dolphin crashes in a background
   Product: kde
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: antony.kirile...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: kdeinit5 (16.04.3)

Qt Version: 5.6.1
Frameworks Version: 5.36.0
Operating System: Linux 4.8.0-53-generic x86_64
Distribution: Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya

-- Information about the crash:
Dolphin is just running in a background, auto-launched on startup, I haven't
even touched it, working in Chrome, and then the crash (for Dolphin) report
appears. When I restart it - everything works fine.

My setup - Linux Mint 18.2, I've never touched Dolhin settings, so they are
default.

I've seen a similar behavior at least 3 times before.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

I can confirm both issues. They still exist in current master.
The duplicate message box is caused by KJob's (not disabled) internal error
handling.
Gwenview's error dialog adds KJobs already html-formatted error string to the
message which results in displaying the markup.

[krita] [Bug 393217] New: crash when resizing tool options applet w/ select shapes tool+vector layer

2018-04-17 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393217

Bug ID: 393217
Summary: crash when resizing tool options applet w/ select
shapes tool+vector layer
   Product: krita
   Version: 4.0.1
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: General
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: sruz@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: krita (4.0.1)

Qt Version: 5.9.4
Frameworks Version: 5.43.0
Operating System: Linux 4.16.1-gentoo x86_64
Distribution: "NAME=Gentoo"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was resizing the tool options applet with "select shapes" tool, working on
text/vector layer (on outline color/width tab) - the crash happened while
dragging the bottom of the applet.

- Custom settings of the application:
I'm using gentoo, krita-4.0.1 ebuild from the main repository, so the build
config should be fairly standard, but it's not the official binary nontheless
(if there's such a thing).
Original config for user from krita 3.3, didn't wipe when upgrading to 4.0.1.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

[LabPlot2] [Bug 393218] New: [improvement] Possibility of selecting the x-data range to fit

  Target Milestone: ---

It would be a nice addition if one could select the x-range to fit from a
certain plot, instead of fitting the whole data. For instance, your
experimental points reach a plateau but you just want to fit the first or last
points to a linear equation when, at the same time, all the data points are
plotted in the graph.

This is possible in QtiPlot.

Thanks. I had tried to shortcut installing keras, but that turned out to be
needed to reproduce.

This should now be fixed both for the KF5 and the KDE4 version (but not in any

It would be nice if in LabPlot2 you could select the x-range to show a fit. In
other words: imagine you perform a fit to a data set ranging from x=4 to x=25.
In this case, the line showing the fit also goes from x=4 to x=25, but if would
be useful if the user could select to show it from x=0 to x=30, for instance.

[LabPlot2] [Bug 393215] Right-clicking on a spreedsheet column to plot data only shows that column option in the drop-down menus for both axis

> that.
The plot data dialog shows only the selected columns or shows all columns if no
selection is available. This supports two different workflows:
1. the user has one x column and several y columns but wants to plot only
couple of them. For this the user does a multiple selection and selects the x
column together with the y columns he/she is interested in.
2. the user want to plot all the data available in the spreadsheet. For this
the user selects "Plot data" from the context menu of the spreadsheet (no need
to select any columns). Here, the first column in the spreadsheet having the
plot designation X is assigned as the x column and all the other columns are
put to y columns.

Alright, RKWard 0.7.0b packages have hit the servers, now. These simply revert
the commit, as you suggested.

In git master, there is a new attempt at avoiding empty directories, without
breaking installation:
https://cgit.kde.org/rkward.git/commit/?id=23f685bb2d1eddd1eed2b16bde079c17112f5fdd
.

Thanks a lot for reporting! I will try not to mess up as badly for the next
release, and especially be much more careful about changes late in release
phase.

Yes, I already checked that. However, in 1. above, if a user is interested in
plotting just one y-column, I find it intuitive to *only* select this
particular column and expect LabPlot to automatically select its designated x
counterpart, not itself as the x-axis.

What's more. Imagine you wanted to plot a y-column from one spreedsheet vs. an
x-column from *a different* spreedsheet. I think LabPlot should show the
designated x-columns from the available spreedsheets in the drop-down menu when
you just select one y-column and right-click on it to plot the data. Or, at the
very list, as I said before, its corresponding correct x-colun instead of
itself.

Screenshot of the issue

I've ran into this today. You can clearly see the missaligned top part of the
letters in the menu My version of the application is:
Application: systemsettings5 (5.12.4)
Qt Version: 5.9.3
Frameworks Version: 5.45.0
Operating System: Linux 4.13.0-38-generic x86_64
Distribution: KDE neon LTS User Edition 5.12

After trying to search for a built in report button, the application crashed.
The bug reporter claimed that my crash report isn't useful, but I searched for
the fonts bug and came here.

I was using Noto Sans 15 or 14 for my fonts. Changing the fonts to Ubuntu of
the same size didn't alter system settings and the behaviour persisted.

[krita] [Bug 393221] New: Request for better native Krita noise filter

2018-04-17 Thread DusanVuk
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393221

Bug ID: 393221
Summary: Request for better native Krita noise filter
   Product: krita
   Version: 4.0.1
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: usability
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Filters
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: duletovem...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Noise filter is amongst most widely used filters in any image editing software.
Native Krita Noise Filter is very poor and it can't be limited to alpha
channel.
Since many features of Krita are much better desingned compared to similar
software, why it can't be done with Noise Filter as well? I can imagine
universal noise filter that can give control over a range of parameters such as
noise type, contrast and frequency. G'MIC versions of Noise Filters are not
very flexible and very slow.
Much respect for powerful developers of Krita.

Ok, I see. But how can we figure out what is its x counterpart? User can have
in principle an arbitrary mixture of plot designations for different columns in
the spreadsheet maintained. And the only thing that we have at the moment is
the plot designation for the column itself, if provided by the user at all. For
example, if the user has the following columns

x y y x

and selects the third column for the plot, what is its x counter part?

> What's more. Imagine you wanted to plot a y-column from one spreedsheet vs.

> instead of itself.
With plotting of data via the context menu of the spreadsheet you have an easy
tool to quickly plot the data, but for this particular spreadsheet only. If we
would show also other spreadsheets in this dialog, this will cause confusions
in many cases. If you want to plot data from different spreadsheets you need to
manually create a plot, add a xy-curve and provide the column data sources.

Also similar to the arguments above, we don't have the information about "its
corresponding x or y column", that's why we cannot do any magic here. Even if
we would allow the user to enter for every column the additional information
about the corresposding x/y columns, the user has to maintain this which will
result in additional overhead.

[plasmashell] [Bug 393219] Icons in gvim's toolbar in plasma only have large spacing, width and height

Can you play with changing your GTK3 theme in the relevant system settings
module.

If it's caused by breeze-gtk, set the status back to unconfirmed and move the
product to "breeze" component "gtk"

If it still happens under the default gtk3 (adwaita?) then it's nothing that
Plasma, and you'll have to talk to gvim.

[KScreen] [Bug 393223] New: DisplayPort detection issues after standby/resume

2018-04-17 Thread Christian Muehlhaeuser
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393223

Bug ID: 393223
Summary: DisplayPort detection issues after standby/resume
   Product: KScreen
   Version: 5.12.4
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR

kscreen log

Note: I'm not sure if this is a kscreen bug or kwin bug, but I'm leaning
towards the former.

I have two monitors connected to my system, one 1080p per HDMI, one 4k per
DisplayPort. When putting my system to sleep (RAM), the DisplayPort connection
seems to be shutdown in a weird way. Upon resuming from sleep, kscreen detects
the DisplayPort monitor multiple times, which confuses kwin and a bunch of
other applications (like latte-dock). Usually this manifests in the following
ways:

- Only the HDMI monitor shows the lock-screen, the 4k/DP monitor only shows a
black background (no lock-screen controls), but does show a mouse cursor when
moving it to the screen.

- kwin loses window positioning and moves my windows from the HDMI monitor to
the DP monitor.

- latte-dock sets an incorrect screen mask, making the right half of the dock
disappear (see https://github.com/psifidotos/Latte-Dock/issues/941 for the
upstream issue)

This is not happening every time I resume, but more often than not. It makes me
assume this is a timing issues. Maybe the screen first gets initialized with
1080p, then quickly switches over to 4k?

Debug output from kscreen attached!

Can confirm. :/ Sorry about that. I swear I tested this extensively--including
with a non-default font size of Noto Sans 11. Unfortunately, that's not one of
the affected font and size combinations, so I missed this.

The bug seems to be that this *particular* view has some minor mis-alignment
that triggers the clipped text bug when Qt Native text rendering is used. I
don't think we should roll back the fix; rather, we need to fix whatever it is
in this particular scrollview that's triggering the bug.

Workaround: open the following file:
- Debian-based distros:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Controls.2/org.kde.desktop/Label.qml
- Other distros:
/usr/lib64/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Controls.2/org.kde.desktop/Label.qml

Comment out the line that begins with "renderType:" and add a new line
consisting of "renderType: Text.QtRendering" Save the file and re-open System
Settings. Should be fixed.

This will force Qt Text Rendering, which does not have the issue. It will have
the effect of making nearly all text using Qml Label items subtly lighter in
color though.

Changing the gtk3 theme in sys settings only changes the colours - not the
icons themselves or the spacing. Moreover, based on strace, it seems that
breeze is still being used on plasma5 whereas it isnt on jwm, where the toolbar
is sane. So it is a p5-specific issue.

It seems to fix the issue. In Arch the path of the file is slightly different
i.e :/usr/lib64/qt/qml/QtQuick/Controls.2/org.kde.desktop/Label.qml

Just curious why this issue is not there in KDE Neon Dev-Unstable even though
they are using(presumably) the same configurations ?

Kile (I'm using version 2.9.91 of Kile) creates its lyx pipe in /tmp. Kbibtex
does not seem to be able to detect it automatically (the 'send to LyX/Kile'
feature does not work). However, if I manually specify the location of the pipe
in 'settings > configure kbibtex > saving and exporting > Manually specified
LyX pipe', I am able to use the aforementioned feature properly. Kbibtex should
also search in /tmp for a Lyx pipe.

Windows reads"~" correctly overall. Issue occurs when brush was created and

[kmymoney] [Bug 393225] New: Wishlist: Payee-specific setting for whether to autofill with prior transactions

2018-04-17 Thread Christian
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393225

Bug ID: 393225
Summary: Wishlist: Payee-specific setting for whether to
autofill with prior transactions
   Product: kmymoney
   Version: 5.0.1
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: gen...@moin.fi
  Target Milestone: ---

Currently, (depending on the setting in the Settings/Ledger) KMyMoney suggests
prior transactions to autofill a new transaction, after entering the Payee.

I find that, for most Payees, I never use the suggestions and click Cancel, but
for some I always use the suggestion. It would be nice to have a setting
(ideally on the popup with suggestions, "Never show again for this payee" with
a check-box) to hide the suggestions for some, but not all payees. This setting
could be shown also under Payees, so that one can re-activate the autofill
suggestions.

A second issue with the autofill, unrelated to the above: Under the existing
Settings, there is the option to Autofill when the amount is within x% of a
previous transaction. But the autofill suggestion window pops up immediately
after I enter the Payee, and not after I enter any amount, so I don't
understand how this is supposed to work.

Just tested it in live boot and was surprised to see that I can't reproduce it
in Neon Dev Unstable(downloaded just now).I tested it from font size 9 to 18 in
Noto Sans but there was no sign of clipping. Also, enabling and disabling of

Font size 18: https://i.imgur.com/uhD98yS.png

Other than this, one more thing that I noticed is that the font size doesn't
scale equally for all categories for example see snaps of font size 17,you will
notice that the font size under "Appearance" category is considerable larger as
compared to any other category.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
