If I understand your comment correctly, you are saying that MIPS front end
misuses DivModU128to64 for something which is not intended.
Then please go ahead and fix that but please do not associate it in any way
with this bug
as these are independent.

The version used by neon and Kubuntu is a different frontend on the same
backend in the same code base maintained by the same people. So, it is
ubiquity. The bug's not been introduced by KDE as ubiquity is not maintained by
KDE.

This is also present in plasma 5.10.4 It is really annoying and frustrating.
After a crash (witch an often thing for plasma 5), or a reboot/logout (not
always), the icon in folder view gets scrambled.

I usually backup the file ~.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc and
restore it in order to avoid manually restoring the icons positions.

Why is this still unconfirmed?

Archlinux.

Also specify a default StyleName for fonts

Summary:
When saving, kcm_fonts adds the default selected StyleName,
so it needs to specified here as well to avoid mismatches.

Test Plan:
Ran pkcon install with no kdeglobals.
Without this change: Bold title in the auth dialog

I finally fixed this issue by merging in the mingwxx-kmymoney-installer package
into mingwxx-kmymoney based on a hint from
https://saschpe.wordpress.com/2013/01/10/obs-101-how-to-threat-packages-with-multiple-spec-files/

Now the installer and portable packages are rebuild by default every time the
source of the mingwxx-kmymoney package is updated.

After upgrading yesterday to the latest openSUSE Tumbleweed snapshot, the
symptoms have disappeared for me! :) NO high CPU usage, NO flickering
artifacts, NO overheat. Everything back to normal.

I saw that there were a bunch of updates for Qt 5.9.
I will report its exact version and build number this evening when I get home
(if needed).

Thx for the help.

port documentation handling to kdoctools

now that plasma dropped the if conditionals in doc/CMakeLists.txt
requirement we can rely on kdoctools' somewhat less sophisticated
documentation handling. saves us excessive amounts of code with insane
complexity and aligns the source tree more with what frameworks have.

this also gives us "free" manpage support, add some minor branching to
correctly detect and copy manpage docbooks into the final tree. also
new test case to assert the results are well-formed

Hi
In connection to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383350 problem.
I study KTextEditor sources and I found complex code for bookmark handling. I
found easy way to avoid this in my code. How ever now my editor require
KSyntaxhighlighter in order to compile. So maybe my solution is not acceptable
for KTextEditor.
My solution is:
1. move TextBlockUserData from syntaxhighlighter.cpp to the syntaxhighlighter.h
2. inherit TextBlockUserData by LineInfo class used by my Editor class in order
to add bookmark info (enabled and position in line).

Now it works as expected. But modularity hurts. But I think it is acceptable in
simple editors like mine.

thanks and best regards
Szyk Cech

As mentioned on IRC, I don't agree that this is a (KDevelop) bug.

Navigating in lists is a behaviour found in almost every GUI application, arrow
keys don't magically disappear just for us.

The Qt platform can and should set the global behaviour for all applications;
the KDE one already allows that. http://www.flherne.uk/files/list_shortcuts.png

If this isn't currently possible using qt5ct it should be added there.

Hi Rebecca,

I've seen this reported on the forum, too.

I guess you got some kind of a windows update that broke stuff.

Logically, if Krita didn't change, an an issue appears, then it's not krita
that broke, but something else. That's why uninstalling and reinstalling
wouldn't help -- it won't ever help, even, because uninstalling and
reinstalling means you're replacing the bits you had with exactly the same
bits. It doesn't remove Krita's settings.

The settings, btw, you can reset:
https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetting_Krita_configuration -- that might do
something, though I doubt it.

In contrast to Francis, I do wonder whether it should be fixed on our side. We
have an abstraction for this in KStandardActions, this is something we could
re-use for the completion lists we have in KDevelop:

We could use something like this I think for Quick Open:
https://lxr.kde.org/source/frameworks/kcompletion/src/khistorycombobox.cpp#0376

KStandardShortcut::rotateUp() and KStandardShortcut::rotateDown() are actually
the two shortcuts mentioned in Francis' screenshot:
  http://www.flherne.uk/files/list_shortcuts.png

Note: This is only about navigating in completion lists in KDevelop; the rest
is unrelated. As seen with the reporter, this is the biggest issue. Arrows keys
are not really needed for any other actions in KDevelop (and in KTE one can use
the vimode with hjkl keys)

Yes, instead of using (nonexistent) Iop_DivModU64to64, it uses DivModU128to64
but the back'end implements simplified code it as it was Iop_DivModU64to64.

Bug ID: 383394
   Summary: install kde-frameworks-5 snap
   Product: Discover
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Snap Backend
  Assignee: aleix...@kde.org
  Reporter: j...@jriddell.org
  Target Milestone: ---

KDE snaps built by KDE neon need the kde-frameworks-5 snap to be installed
before the app snap. There isn't any support in Snap for this yet so probably
the best place for it is in Discover. It should check if kde-frameworks-5 is
installed and if not install it before the app snap.

(KDE neon does install this by default on new ISO installs but that doesn't
help existing installs nor other distros.)

[frameworks-kio] [Bug 365356] KIO supports WebDAV, but doesn't accept the dav:// URL scheme (Nautilus syntax)

2017-08-11 Thread KDE Neon user

--- Comment #4 from KDE Neon user ---
>From the Github issue
(https://github.com/cryptomator/cryptomator/issues/307#issuecomment-321766545):

"On your KDE bug report, you could add a note, that one can test WebDAV clients
against http://webdavserver.com/. That site creates temporary dav resources to
demo their server library. (Cause David Faure wrote, he doesn't have a WebDAV
account anywhere)"
