After adding Quicklaunch to defaultPanel's layout.js then Quicklaunch fails to
read the configuration upon adding another panel.
The first Quicklaunch in the default panel works when you log in, but if you
add more default panels they will not read the configuration provided. They
will however read properly if you log out after adding them, without touching
them. They should read the configuration the first time.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add the following to defaultPanel's layout.js:
/usr/share/plasma/layout-templates/org.kde.plasma.desktop.defaultPanel/contents/layout.js
var quicklaunch = panel.addWidget("org.kde.plasma.quicklaunch")
quicklaunch.currentConfigGroup = ["General"]
quicklaunch.writeConfig("launcherUrls","file:///usr/share/applications/org.kde.konsole.desktop,file:///usr/share/applications/org.kde.dolphin.desktop");
quicklaunch.writeConfig("maxSectionCount","2");
2. Log out.
3. Remove or move ~/.config/
It is probably only needed to remove
~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc
4. Log in
5. Right-click the desktop and add default panels.
Actual Results:
Quicklaunch appears in the panels but it will not load the configuration from
layout.js.
Expected Results:
Quicklaunch appears in the panels with the configuration from layout.js.
Tested on Kubuntu 16.04 and 16.10 beta 2.

plasma-nm has been designed and released in KDE4 times already, replacing the
older "networkmanagement".
openSUSE shipped it in a pre-release version in 13.1 already (though
plasmoid-networkmanagement was still installed by default), and as only option
in 13.2.
Both came with the KDE4 desktop.

Fix bug 369882 ("Brush property Color: Mix doesnt work right with the default
colorspace in 16 Bits")
m_cachedBackGroundColor, which is used for mixing, is only set to the actual
background color when m_color.colorSpace() != m_foreGroundColor.colorSpace().
In the case of the bug, the colorspaces are equal.

Somebody else has to answer this question, who is more involved in the development of Discover. I think it uses PackageKit, which again uses an apt backend for updating / installing software. In any case when updating, Discover seems to do something equivalent to apt full-upgrade. Maybe it should also do apt install -f, in case this doesn't succeed ? In lieu of replacing your graphics driver/hardware (probably the most practical solution), Wayland would probably perform better than X11 on your system - at least some of the glitches I see in your video are caused X11 being very poor at doing window mapping and resizing atomically (yes, despite the existence of the sync protocol) - between Qt Quick and X11 resizing the dialog window and the GL scene inside doesn't always happen within one frame, and most likely due to poor performance or driver bugs, it's especially bad on your system. Unfortunately that's nothing that can be affected from the level of Kicker's code though (and we've already tried pretty hard to optimize this in kwin/Qt Quick and even xcb by trying to use the sync protocol in more creative ways, texture reuse, etc. without much success). This was better with 5.1 - A real bug is, that when I adjust the slider by mouse, the decimal values don't change I appreciate a fix for this since it improves productivity.
