just click and drag it to the panel.

It's not something that belongs in the notification area as it doesn't
show/hide based on state.

It is the certificates used for SSL over HTTP. When you visit website start
with "https://";, their are using *.crt files. Web browsers, like Firefox and
Chrome, are also bundled with many root certificates, and can check if the
website provide a valid certificates issued by a trusted organization.

I have the same issue with digiKam 5.0.0. The lens auto-correction can't
determine the subject distance (camera and lens are detected correctly) and
instead of assuming default value like the image editor (i.e. 0.0) it fails
completely.

Is there a way to work-around this?

Under "Misc" in settings, there is an option "Check if first added clip matches
project file"
I have this functionality disabled (Mainly because kdenlive sucks on dealing
with project that have clips with different frame rates, my very old bugs on
this issue is just as valid today as they were then)
When opening a clip on an empty project, I now get a popup asking whether I
want to switch to a different profile, which means that the setting was
completely ignored.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Clips profile is checked against project profile.

The problem is that the agenda part on the left just uses Qt.locale to format
the date which uses the LC_something as language for the translated name. The
month ontop of the calendar has some "clever" logic to get the translated name
from the current LANG instead.

I also confirm this bug.
I have updated to fedora 24 yesterday, which has KMail 5.2.2 on KDE 5.23.
I use breeze-dark.

I have tried replacing the mail-mark-unread / mail-mark-unread-new icons from
the oxygen theme but it's not apparently taken into account or i'm replacing
the wrong one.

It makes the icon itself invisible and the mail count unreadable.
It would be good to have a non-transparent "envelope" for the dark theme so
that the icon contrasts with the black tray background.

2016-07-06 Thread via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365146

I managed to have back the Panel from external VGA monitor to primary laptop
screen.
I edited "external" panel and moved to primary screen.
Fond that there was hidden a second copy of the panel under it.
I was able to move it around and, fortunately, with no more panels found behind
it.
I moved back "primary" Panel to external screen, and it crashed.
I moved the second "external" Panel back to primary screen in place of the
crashed one, and it crashed.
Now in primary screen there is the haunted space of the ghost of the old first
panel.

2016-07-06 Thread David Edmundson via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365097

Update in case I get hit by a bus over lunch.

After a morning in gammaray - the framesvg behind krunner is absolutely fine
right pixmaps, right geometry.

Problem seems to be within dialogshadows/kwin.

Debug in dialog shadow looks fine (plus it's not changed)

So I built kwin5.6, and that renders fine.

[digikam] [Bug 365079] Digikam 5.0 beta 7 crashes while showing the splash image.

2016-07-06 Thread Hans-Peter via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365079

I tried normal update. No success, digikam5 crashes as described initially. I
then deinstalled everything from Phillips ppa and most libs with *kf5* or
marble. Reinstalled, no difference. I installed old 4.14 again, still works
(puuh!). So i give up on trying digikam5 for now and stay with 4.14 (which
works mostly nice). Maybe i try again in a month or so. However, if You have
ideas for producing more meaningful debug logs, pls. tell me.

I think what happens is called the "dependency hell" of libraries. Is this
better on FreeBSD?

[plasmashell] [Bug 360359] The Search applet does not provide all features that KRunner does

2016-07-06 Thread Kai Uwe Broulik via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=360359

--- Comment #3 from Kai Uwe Broulik ---
I found the cause. KRunner RunnerManager opens the application config and reads
the enabled categories from there. If run from KRunner it will be "krunnerrc"
where also the enabled runners in the KCM are saved to.

However, when adding the search applet it is part of plasmashell and searches
for the categories in plasmashellrc where they obviously aren't and then it
falls back to the default set which doesn't include calculator and such.

and check whether the crashes also happen if you disable opengl in

Great to know!
The screenshot looks promising. That's exactly the type of utile information I
was thinking of; well, I hope in future versions it will progressively include
a bit more: business hours, website and email or other contact info, if
available, "nearby" search, etc. But yes, it's a gret beginning. :)
When I asked for these features I was thinking on the desktop version, but I
suppose that improvements will be implemented in both, right?

Thanks for answering. I'll be on the lookout for next Marble releases. :)

I'm sorry, but I still cannot reproduce. I doubt it's really windows-specific,
this code is pretty generic.

Hi,

Could you try the following:

wget
http://files.kde.org/krita/3/linux/devbuilds/krita-3.0-b546ec0c702aa-dbg-x86_64.appimage
sudo mount krita-3.0-b546ec0c702aa-dbg-x86_64.appimage /mnt
cd /mnt
gdb AppRun

and type run on the gdb prompt, then reproduce the crash. Do you get a working
backtrace? I don't get the crash here, so I am suspecting there's an issue with
krita and the opengl drivers on your installation.

[krita] [Bug 340948] Crash when undoing a 16 bits float to 8 bits color space conversion

2016-07-06 Thread Boudewijn Rempt via KDE Bugzilla

Boudewijn Rempt changed:

I actually think I know what's going on... The crash happens when trying to
close the image while the conversion is still going on. In the backtrace,
there's a stacktrace for the thread where the image is deleted, and several
that are still updating the canvas. But Dmitry redid that logic for 3.0, so it
shouldn't be possible anymore.
