I have tried replacing the mail-mark-unread / mail-mark-unread-new icons from the oxygen theme but it's not apparently taken into account or i'm replacing the wrong one. It makes the icon itself invisible and the mail count unreadable. I edited "external" panel and moved to primary screen. Fond that there was hidden a second copy of the panel under it. I was able to move it around and, fortunately, with no more panels found behind it. I moved back "primary" Panel to external screen, and it crashed. I moved the second "external" Panel back to primary screen in place of the crashed one, and it crashed. So i give up on trying digikam5 for now and stay with 4.14 (which works mostly nice). Maybe i try again in a month or so. However, if You have ideas for producing more meaningful debug logs, pls. tell me. I think what happens is called the "dependency hell" of libraries. Is this better on FreeBSD? The crash happens when trying to close the image while the conversion is still going on. In the backtrace, there's a stacktrace for the thread where the image is deleted, and several that are still updating the canvas.
