Same install of fc23 in vmware and it is more or less fine (had only once a situation where more than one click for reaction was needed) In both cases (vbox and vmware) the previews in icon-only-taskmanager are not usable because they disappear before we have a chance clicking on them (e.g. running two konsole windows and trying to select on of them by acitvating the 'preview') see also: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356441 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwin] [Bug 341930] Session management in porting preproc branch
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341930 --- Comment #77 from Leslie Zhai --- Hi Thomas, Thanks for your reply ;-) 1. Qt5 v5.5.1 has integrated the patch for QTBUG-46310 to fix xcb: set SM_CLIENT_ID property issue, and I have applied the patch for QTBUG-45484 to fix Fix QWidget::setWindowRole issue. 2. As Andreas suggested, I patched the kxmlgui to Remove QCoreApplication::setQuitLockEnabled(true) from KMainWindowPrivate::init() But ksmserver still failed to restore the applications (based on Qt5) session nor even chromium! and Gtk based applications, such as pidgin, thunderbird, are ok. > there're considerations to work around *parts* of that in ksmserver After discussed with Andreas, he pointed out my fault - I wrongly argued that it might be libSM's issue. so I parsed the files under $HOME/.config/session/, filter the window manager - kwin, then call startApplication() after parsing [Session: saved at previous logout] configuration to restart application. in plasma-workspace/ksmserver/startup.cpp, line 393, based on plasma-workspace v5.4.3 tag As you said it is just a workaround or monkey patch, for example, kwrite could not open previous documents when restore the session. But thanks for your help again ;-) Regards, Leslie Zhai -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

The problem occurs in Dolphin irrespective of how many tabs are open (I assume that's what you mean by panels). For instance, if you browse the device in one tab, close that tab, but leave Dolphin running with a tab that has not browsed to the MTP device, Dolphin still retains exclusive control of the MTP device. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356462 wolthera changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|UNCONFIRMED |CONFIRMED CC||griffinval...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from wolthera --- Yeah, this one is caused by a rounding error: 0+1=1 1/2=0.5 int(0.5)=1. So all mixes where the result befor dividing is uneven end up with an offset. This doesn't happen with floating point. No clue what should be done about it... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 356462] Krita opacity bug
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356462 --- Comment #2 from wolthera --- Actually, no, now I think about it, the problem happens in the transparency code: Somehow we're not ending up with 100% transparency. You can test this by comparing the difference between 'pick from merged image' and 'pick from layer'. On 'pick from layer' we get full black. On 'pick from merged image' integer spaces give an offset. So the error happens in the transparancy-mixing code, and that it is unable to get to 100%. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
