No Subject

 Hello all

 I just installed Cyrus IMAPD , but it can't start from the inetd.
When I try to run it manually , I get :
 Aug 14 13:39:39 cow imapd: could not getenv(CYRUS_SERVICE); exiting
And the same with pop3d.
 What can be wrong with it ?

moving to Cyrus

 Hello all 

 It seemes I have successfully installed Cyrus on my test system.
 Before I do it on my working system I need to know what problems may
encounter when moving to Cyrus mailer on system with about 300
standard users ,whose mail is lying in /var/spool/mqueue
/var/spool/mail etc. 
 Should I create every user and set his password([quota]) manually, or
there is a way to do it easier and automatically , taking usernames and
their passwords from the passwd & shadow ?  And , of course, it's
necessary to move messages in their old mailboxes to the new ones.

 If anyone know - how can I make cyrus to check users' passwords through
/etc/shadow instead sasl database ? 
  I just want to make mailbox for my old user leaving all his settings
in system untouched.

building sasl

Hello all
  Still can't get cyrus to work with passwords checking through shadow...
  In CYRUS-IMAP HOWTO they suggest building SASL with the key
 ./configure --with-pwcheck_method=shadow . But theres no such key in my
SASL 1.5.24, at least ./configure --help doesnt show it.
 Besides that, there's no key --enable-pwcheck either ( when I decided to
try pwcheck eventually ). All these doesn;'t work, though I specify in
imapd.conf 
sasl_pwcheck_method: shadow(or pwcheck)
sasl_passwd_check: shadow(or pwcheck)
So, I can get imapd work only with checking
through default sasldb. 
  
Please, hint...

Where to get script

 Hello
Where can I get the script meant here in list to convert(export) all my
mailboxes into Cyrus format ? I couldn't find it at CPAN... How it is
called ?
