Haven't had time to work with it yet. But today I made the very first comment
on a PR. Made a screenshot and pasted it into the comment field - all within
just 2 seconds. For that little detail alone:

Hi everyone,

Without having followed this in detail, I think this kind of vote doesn't
do any good for the project. Like I suggested a few times, I think we
should establish a number of "positions" for which people can apply to
volunteer and then get elected for a certain period of time, just like the
TC and CC are being elected. A "Social Media Representative" would be one
such position.

Instead of having someone who never got elected and eventually starting a
revocation poll, an elected position provides a sane procedure and also
confidence for the volunteer to be backed by a majority. When getting into
a controversial situation, the community should - at least publicly - rally
behind that elected person, even when there's disagreement regarding
certain actions, as then it will also be a responsibility of all those who
voted for that person.
When there's dissatisfaction, the community can vote for someone else for
the subsequent period.

This would be a win for all parties involved.
