Hi Atita,

Thank you very much for taking this :)

I don't know how it works and how I can help but don't hesitate to ask me!

regards,

François

I think that Atita has agreed to run the table. (Atita if this is not
correct please speak up).

Assuming she is, there should soon be an announcement for a signup sheet
for people who want to assist at the conference.

Hi Claude,

I think I could help to run the table because I will be on site from
sunday to wednesday.

However, I'm not sure to have a lot of free time to take some task
before the event...

It will depend on how much time it could take to prepare the stuff.

regards,

François

Please let me and Sharan know if you are interested.

Re: [C/C EU 2024] Who is going to run the ASF table?

2024-04-21 Thread Sharan Foga
Hi All

Apologies for the slow response. Unfortunately these days my bandwidth is very
limited so am really happy to see others stepping up to help outthank you!
(that's how community works! :-)

So the main thing regarding the booth is getting the table setup with giveaways
and stickers, and also having someone physically in Bratislava that can take
delivery of whatever gets ordered, run the booth, and take responsibility for
tidying up afterwards. Also depending on if there is anything left over what to
do with it.

Sticker-wise - it's generally good to have stickers available for any project
that has a presentation on the schedule and we also take specific requests.

Money-wise ComDev did have some budget allocated for getting giveaways and
stickers etc for various events including CoC so will need to check that we
still have some funding available and that it is also OK to spend it.

I'll connect with Atita keep her in the loop and also check with the Comdev PMC
regarding budget and spending.

Thanks
Sharan

Re: [C/C Europe 25] [discuss] chair person & BOF

2024-04-21 Thread Claude Warren
We are planning a C/C Europe 2025 BOF at C/C EU 2024 (probably Monday). If
you can attend that would be great. If not, have no fear, I am certain the
organizing committee will accept all volunteers.
