Hi everyone,

Great news! DBeaver Community Edition now supports Cloudberry starting from
its version 24.3.3+. You can easily create database connections to
Cloudberry directly within DBeaver.

In case you missed it! 🚀

Re: Interest in Incorporating Apache MADlib into Apache Cloudberry (Incubating)?

2025-02-27 Thread Dianjin Wang
Thanks for bringing this topic up!

If Apache MADlib can support Cloudberry on the upstream, that would be
great. However, from my perspective, our Cloudberry contributors currently
do not have enough resources to fully support the maintenance of MADlib as
a subproject of Cloudberry.

Also, I did a simple & quick survey in the WeChat group. The responses
showed that MADlib is not recognized as one necessary and popular tool for
most AI/ML workloads when using Greenplum. Given this, I personally don’t
see strong demand within our current user base.

Just my thoughts, FYI. Love to hear more.

Best,
Dianjin Wang
