Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2003-01-31 Severity: wishlist * Package name: repast Version : 2.0.1 Upstream Author : * URL : http://repast.sourceforge.net/ * License : BSD Description : software framework for creating agent based simulations It has to go into contrib because of its Java dependency. The University of Chicago's Social Science Research Computing's RePast is a software framework for creating agent based simulations using the Java language (requires version Java 1.4 or greater). It provides a library of classes for creating, running, displaying and collecting data from an agent based simulation. In addition, RePast can take snapshots of running simulations, and create quicktime movies of simulations. RePast borrows much from the Swarm simulation toolkit and can properly be termed "Swarm-like." All the required work is already done. Since this is my first kernel related work, I CC'ed this to debian-devel in case anyone does have suggestions or objections to this. speakup is a kernel patch which extends linux such that you can use the keyboard and a external or internal hardware speech synthesizer to read the console screen contents. The only thing which needs to be set is the synthesizer to be used, which is done via a kernel boot option. As soon as the kernel starts to initialize, your speech synth should immediately start talking, giving you full control over very low-level aspects of system-administration. Bug#174566: gallery adoption?
Hi, I see that both of you expressed an interest in adopting gallery recently. I'm wondering if that is still the case? I'm using it upon my site a lot, and I'd love to adopt it, if you're both busy or doing other things now. (I'm already a Debian developer) Steve --- pgpzsWppyY2JG.pgp Description: PGP signature
