Description : Sub::Uplevel - safe call stack spoofing for perl

Sub::Uplevel from CPAN provides a safe implementation similar to Tcl's
uplevel() function. It allows you to safely fool the caller() into
thinking it's in a different part of the stack, without knowing that
 it is being wrapped.

Implements a set of tools for processing XML documents, as well as
working with XML-like structures in Erlang. The main attraction so far
is a single-pass, highly customizable XML processor. Other components
are an export/translation facility and an XPATH query engine. The low
version number indicates that this is still very much a beta product.
This version fixes a few bugs in the scanner and XPATH, and introduces
some new functionality to support validation hooks.

another big feature of mplayerxp is the wide range of supported output

Most of them supports software or hardware scaling, so you can enjoy movies

excellently improves performance of video decoding. Main goal of this

fgetty is a really small getty and login system based
 on dietlibc.

Just to demonstrate the difference between this and conventional
gettys (quoting Felix von Leitner, author of this getty
 replacement):

< snip <--< snip <--< snip <
The difference is remarkable:

USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
root 5487 0.0 0.1 1180 444 tty5 S00:40 0:00
/sbin/mingetty tty5
root 6035 0.0 0.016 16 tty5 S00:45 0:00 /sbin/fgetty
tty5
< snip <--< snip <--< snip <

This package is not only a getty replacement, but also a login system.
There is login and checkpassword utilities that check against /etc/password
 and /etc/shadow.

I'll write a replacement for su to go with this so that this package can
replace both login / the various gettys

License:

At the moment this program is without a license. I have mailed Felix to
remedy this. My guess is it'll end up as GPL since all his other stuff is
released under GPL.

Description : GNOME Display Manager (for Gnome2)

This is basically the same gdm package based on Ryan Murray & Colin
Walters' packaging, but the latest version which integrates with GNOME2.
I won't be uploading anything for at least a week so I can get input
from people who would know better than I as to whether this should even
be uploaded - Ryan has said that he won't replace gdm with a newer
version because GNOME2 doesn't run on all architectures yet, but the
people who can run GNOME2 shouldn't be penalized with a GNOME1 version
of gdm.

I'd like to adopt this package if Nelson allows me to.

I'm from Portugal.

Sure, if you want it, go ahead and take it. Just make sure you update
it to work with the new Aspell. It may be useful to use the aspell-en
package as a reference.

mbox is not a Linux format. It would be more clear and useful to say,
"Converts Outlook and Outlook Express data files to the mbox format,
which is usable by most mail clients (pine, elm, Gnus mutt)."
