Bug#160529: ITP: ask -- Active Spam Killer
I found this in the list of requested packages and thought I'd give it a go. I think I'm actually more than halfway done with it already. I like it. Small hitch: I've been out of the Debian-development loop for a while. It looks like my account ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) is still in the system, but the password I used to have no longer works, perhaps because it's been too long since I've done anything. If anyone can point me in the right direction to get reinstated, I'd sure appreciate it. TIA. = Larry Gilbert Renton, WA, USA <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> __ Do you Yahoo!? The main differences are : - foobillard supports network play (I should add this to the description) - foobillard supports more game types (snooker and carambol) - foobillard has an AI player According to the billard-GL website , these features are also planned there. I started using foobillard because it looked easier to add snooker code (and it was easy), but the upstream author had the same idea at the same time (although the current snooker ai and rule evaluation are mine) Frank > (I'm certainly not implying there's no place in the archive for another > 3D billiards game ;-) > > -- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://people.debian.org/~jaq > > > -- > To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > with a subject of "unsubscribe". I'm also interested in packaging the cm-super fonts, and it seems possible to do since the latest changes in the tetex packages. Bug#175875: ITP: python-bz2 -- bzip2 compression for python
FYI, From http://www.python.org/2.3/NEWS.html : """ New module bz2: provides a comprehensive interface for the bz2 compression library. It implements a complete file interface, one-shot (de)compression functions, and types for sequential (de)compression. This is lucky ! > Are you still interested in this package, and are you planning to > release something soon ? Being straight: 1/ I am still interested with this package. 2/ Unluckily, i am very busy this year [Je prépare l'agrégation de mathématiques, i guess you understand well what 'busy' means here], and have few time to spend with leisures (other than maths) and people, so i do not plan any release soon. 3/ I had no other contacts on this topic, so i have not any previously done work to give you as a 'starting point'. I hope you will be successfull in this enterprise, Regards, -- Michaël Grünewald <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Bug#174875: ppoeconf already does PPtP/dsl...?
I have a PPtP/DSL connection. pppoeconf already seems to work? T-Online and mediaways both worked with it just fine. What is the specific issue needing resolution? Since I use this package regularily I may be willing to adopt it. -- Wesley W. Terpstra <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> pgprgAhyQtJas.pgp Description: PGP signature
