how to log mozilla crash?

2004-10-09 Thread scorpix
Hi,
I use Mozilla 1.7.3-5 on Sid.
My problem is that Mozilla crashed many times and i do not know the reason.
So how can i get a crash log for it so i can report a bug, like the
backtrace in kde that appear when some kde apps crashed?

Something like this:
script -c "strace /usr/bin/mozilla-1.7.3" moz.log
It will save the output of the strace for you in
a file called moz.log.

i do it and this what is get:
-=-=-
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ script -c "strace /usr/bin/mozilla-1.7.3" moz.log
Script started, file is moz.log
Script done, file is moz.log
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat moz.log
Script started on Sat 09 Oct 2004 09:30:28 PM AST
Script done on Sat 09 Oct 2004 09:30:28 PM AST

On the webpage
(http://softwaresuspend.berlios.de/Software-suspend-2.html) in Section
2.4, they say regarding swsusp2 patches :
"If your kernel is not the vanilla one from kernel.org, you will have to
apply these patches manually and edit some of the rejected hunks."
Is the source I get from Debian sources "kernel-source-XYZ" vanilla?

No. A vanilla kernel is one with no extra patches. Debian adds various patches
to it's kernel.

how(from where) can i know what patches that been added to debian
kernel-source?
