Cannot login with root after upgrading from jessie to testing

2016-11-05 Thread mls
Hi,

recently I upgraded my KVM based vserver from jessie to testing. The update
went smooth and everything seemed to work. But when I tried to su to root or
ssh with user root I get the error

-bash: xmalloc: cannot allocate 80008 bytes (1474560 bytes allocated)

With my non root user there is no issue.

Is there anyone out there who experienced a similar issue or knows how to
track down the error?

Thanks/regards,

mls

Debian tracker

2015-09-19 Thread mls
Hi all,

when I try to download debian ISO images via bittorrent I get an error
message:

Error: invalid data from tracker

when accessing http://bttracker.debian.org:6969/announce.

Using wget I see

#wget http://bttracker.debian.org:6969/announce
--2015-09-19 09:52:43-- http://bttracker.debian.org:6969/announce

Any idea?

Thanks/regards,

I tested several times during the last 2 weeks and my impression is that the
tracker was always down. Does someone knows someone responsible who can be
contacted?

Cheers
