Bug#1080415:

2024-09-03 Thread kritomas
Sorry, still figuring out how to use this whole `reportbug` thing. There
doesn't seem to be a "go back one page" button. To provide context for the
attached screenshot:

Notice, how the Dolphin icon and the slider lines on the Settings icon are
all black, when they should be green (as that's my accent color). The
little circle on the updater (the "updates available" one) is also black.

All of these things used to be green.

2024-09-14 Thread kritomas
I am also seeing this, see
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1080415.
Should probably mark either one of these as duplicate.

Bug#1081109: How to fix

2024-09-21 Thread kritomas
Can confirm, an update to `kf6-breeze-icons` does fix the issue, although
not entirely. In Dolphin, my desired accent color still renders as black,
the only one to do so. It looks like KDE is caching accent colors, and
cached the broken black. The fix is easy:
1. Switch to any other accent color.
2. Delete `~/.cache`.
3. Reboot.
4. Switch to your old accent color.
This fixes the problem for good.

Can confirm, installing `qml-module-qtquick-shapes` fixed the issue for me.

Bug#1089830: libkscreenlocker6: kscreenlocker sometimes displays a black screen instead of lockscreen

2024-12-13 Thread kritomas
Package: libkscreenlocker6
Version: 6.2.4-1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: kritom...@gmail.com

Dear Maintainer,

After I updated to KDE Plasma 6, kscreenlocker sometimes breaks and just
displays a black screen instead of the usual lockscreen.
The screen is not off though, the LCD backlight is still on. Also, if you try
to unlock by typing your password as if the lockscreen did work, it unlocks and
displays your session normally (provided you typed it in correctly, since you
have to do it blind).

A workaround I found is to switch to another tty and then switch back, after
which the lockscreen displays normally.
