Bug#243653: konqueror: Mouse-over weirdness
Package: konqueror Version: 4:3.2.2-1 Severity: minor When visiting this webpage: http://www.luv.asn.au/ Move the mouse pointer over the Navigation section (lower left side), particularly over the links just below the Navigation title ("events" & "recent posts" - there are more options if you log in, but this isn't necessary to see the bug in action). As the mouse pointer goes over each one, the link jumps to the right. May be related to CSS. Site in question is using Drupal (I'm the site admin). This behaviour does not happen in Internet Explorer (WinXP), Mozilla (XP & Debian GNU/Linux) or Opera (same as Moz). Note that this bug may have been present since 3.2.* or possibly earlier. Sorry about not getting around to lodging a bug report till now. Below are links to PNG's of the behaviour. These are not full screen captures, just captures of the affected area. Bug#243664: kmail: Filters do not match multiple X-Mailing-List headers
Package: kmail Version: 4:3.2.1-1 Severity: minor A filter that is supposed to match on X-Mailing-List does not match if there are multiple X-Mailing-List headers in the received message. I'm guessing that once it hits the first incidence of X-Mailing-List it stops scanning headers if it doesn't match. The filter is set up as shown in http://members.optusnet.com.au/cef-deb/snapshot4.png A message that does not filter can be found at http://members.optusnet.com.au/cef-deb/x-mailing-list-bug.msg (message text). The multiple X-Mailing-List headers are seperated by a number of other headers, as below (taken from offending mail): X-Mailing-List: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-Loop: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Envelope-to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Class: urn:content-classes:message X-me-spamlevel: not-spam Importance: normal X-me-spamrating: 5.120257 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.3790.0 X-OriginalArrivalTime: 12 Apr 2004 23:30:40.0437 (UTC) FILETIME=[2AB63E50:01C420E6] Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Precedence: bulk X-Mailing-List: linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org Note that I am on linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org (different email address) and not on [EMAIL PROTECTED], so I didn't expect to see messages with both X-Mailing-List headers in them either. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.5-bk1 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU Versions of packages kmail depends on: ii kdebase-kio-plugins 4:3.2.2-1KDE I/O Slaves ii kdelibs44:3.2.2-1KDE core libraries ii ktnef 4:3.2.1-1KDE TNEF viewer ii libart-2.0-22.3.16-3 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfam0c102 2.7.0-5 client library to control the FAM ii libgcc1 1:3.3.3-6GCC support library ii libice6 4.3.0-7 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-9 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libkcal24:3.2.1-1KDE calendaring library ii libkdenetwork2 4:3.2.1-1KDE Network library ii libkdepim1 4:3.2.1-1KDE PIM library ii libksieve0 4:3.2.1-1KDE mail/news message filtering li ii libmimelib1 4:3.2.1-1KDE mime library ii libpcre34.5-1.1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii libpng12-0 1.2.5.0-5PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.2.3-2Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm6 4.3.0-7 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.3-6The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-64.3.0-7 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext64.3.0-7 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7 X Rendering Extension client libra ii xlibs 4.3.0-7 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g 1:1.2.1-5compression library - runtime -- no debconf information
Bug#268804: kmail: Sub-Folders not highlighted as having unread mail
Package: kmail Version: 4:3.3.0-2 Followup-For: Bug #268804 I'm suffering this as well. Of note is that all these folders and sub-folders are maildir. Could this be related to the type of folder that people are using? Also note that I'm receiving mail using POP3 with KMail's internal retrieval options. >> - linux/debian/news with new mail, folders NOT COLLAPSED: News (1) >> in bold, Linux & Debian NOT BOLD. I can't recall, but perhaps >> this behavior is different from previous kmail versions. Definitely different. Previously in KMail 3.2.2, all folders in a newmail chain within the tree were highlighted, all the way to the top. This included the 'Local Folders' option at the very top. >If the structure is NOT COLLAPSED when the mail comes in then the folder >the mail goes to IS BOLD. >> - linux/debian/news with new mail, Linux COLLAPSED: only Linux is >> visible, it appears IN BOLD and with a (0 + 1) label, stating >> that Linux itself does not have any new mail but some of its >> folders do. Not what happens here. The top level folder does not go bold. On opening the top level folder after a sub folder has received mail, the sub folder does not change it's status in any way. ie: It doesn't go bold, the number of messages supposedly in the folder does not change, unread messages field is blank, etc. >If the structure is COLLAPSED when the mail is checked in then no >folders are BOLD even once the structure is afterwards expanded. In which >case I need to click on the folder to see if there is new mail, a little >annoying when I have 50+ (sub)folders :) This also breaks the 'When trying to find unread messages: Loop in All Folders' option ('Misc' section of 'Configure - KMail'), as it doesn't find any new messages. Hope this info helps. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-rc1-mm1-a Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU Versions of packages kmail depends on: ii kdelibs4 4:3.3.0-1.1KDE core libraries ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:3.4.1-7 GCC support library ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-6 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libkcal2 4:3.3.0-2 KDE calendaring library ii libkdenetwork24:3.3.0-2 KDE Network library ii libkdepim14:3.3.0-2 KDE PIM library ii libkleopatra0 4:3.3.0-2 KDE GnuPG interface libraries ii libkpimidentities14:3.3.0-2 KDE PIM user identity information ii libksieve04:3.3.0-2 KDE mail/news message filtering li ii libmimelib1 4:3.3.0-2 KDE mime library ii libpng12-01.2.5.0-7 PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.3.3-4 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm64.3.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++51:3.3.4-9 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii perl 5.8.4-2Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g1:1.2.1.1-7compression library - runtime -- no debconf information
