I only have read the bug reports slighly and I am closing them semi-automatically expecting that users still interested in bugs still applying do this, but I realize now I should have added this info the template mail: You can reopen the bug, reassing to systemsettings and update the version. Bug#434697: Default alternative terminal emulator should be x-terminal-emulator; arguably it should be the actual default too
Updating this bug for KDE 4: I see that in systemsettings the default terminal emulator is Konsole. This ignores Debian's settings; it should be x-terminal-emulator.
