Bug#291019: kmail: Keep messages on server for X days after download
Package: kmail Version: 4:3.3.1-3 Severity: wishlist *** Please type your report below this line *** Now AFAIK KMail lets you keep messages on server or delete them after you checked for new emails. IMHO it would be useful if there were an "intermediate" option that let you keep messages on server for a nuber of days specified by user and then delete them. This can be useful for example when you download email via POP3 and you want to let them on server just in case you need them when you access your mailbox via webmail (but you don't want your message box fills itself) or when you receive spam and you want to mark messages as spam at your provider (with GMX I have to go to www.gmx.net, open the message and then mark it as spam). Hello and sorry for the time it took to me to reply... ZR> I have the same problem, altough I would like to note, that it works ZR> occasionally for me. That is sometimes nothing is there, then when I ZR> return to the summary some feeds appear. I solved my problem installing "dcoprss" package (and so also "librss1" package) and manually copying libkontact_newstickerplugin.la and libkontact_newstickerplugin.so into /usr/lib/kde3/. So, at the end, for me was a problem of missing dependencies. Thanks anyway for your email! Hope this helps, Matteo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Package: kmail Version: 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3+b1 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- Hello, I use feed2imap to follow some feeds. Bug#725911: ark: incompatible with latest unrar's output format
Package: ark Version: 4:4.10.5-1 Severity: normal Ark suggests either unrar (non-free) or unrar-free in order to correctly display and unpack RAR archives. Please note that such suggests is unversioned. The version of unrar in Wheezy was 1:4.1.4-1 and it worked quite well. In Jessie, however, unrar transitioned from the 4.x series to the 5.x series. In the transition, the output format *drastically* changed, and Ark cannot deal with it anymore. This is an example of the output of unrar 4.x, with its typical 'tabular' style (which, by the way, is very similar to the output of unrar-free). I invoked unrar with the same options as used by Ark itself. I don't think that the issue can be solved hacking at the dependency level, using e.g. versioned suggests: unrar and unrar-free are managed through the alternatives framework, so there is no guarantee of which version the user has configured. I try deleting > plasma configuration files but nothing changes. > > > > Running "kwin-x11 --replace" I get: Although the package name is kwin-x11, the binary is kwin_x11. Depending on how you're running kwin your likely to have better results if you wait for today's updates (which should include KDE 4 -> Plasma 5 if you're doing this in KDE). If you aren't running it from inside KDE, there should also be an updated kwin that sets /etc/alternatives/x-window-manager correctly. Finally, if you stay on KDE4, add a symlink from /usr/bin/kwin_x11 to /usr/bin/kwin and that should help. That will be included in the next kwin upload, but we're now caught up in the gcc5 transition, so it may be awhile before that's uploaded. If any of those thing help, please close the bug as we've got others that cover those cases. Scott K -- Matteo Calorio Linux & OpenSource systems O.R.S. s.r.l. V. Bug#612769: kmail: segfaults when choosing English dictionary
Package: kmail Version: 4:4.4.7-3 Severity: normal Hi, Kmail (or Kontact) segfaults when I try to choose any of the English dictionary when composing a mail. I do that with the menu Tools -> Spell-checking (not sure of the menu title in English), then chosing any flavour of English language. It is 100% reproducible. All French language flavours work, and Hebrew too (I can't remember to have installed any Hebrew dictionary, but anyway…). Bug#582953: kmail deleted all non-local incoming mail settings on upgrade
Hi, The same thing just happened again, with Kontact 4:4.4.7-3 (sid): error messages, mails deleted, Akregator feed list corrupted, preferences forgotten, etc. It would be really nice if someone was interested in solving this bug. Bug#582953: Kmail deleted all my local mail
Hi, That reminds me I forgot to update this bug report. I did not experience the problem for some time now, and I think it is related with the filesystem I use for my /home: I moved from ZFS-Fuse to ext4. That said, it may be related to ZFS-Fuse, but other users experienced a similar problem on other FS (Juha on XFS). Anyway, Kmail/Kontact should better handle its files (missing sync somewhere creating corrupted files in certain circumstances?), and do not blindly delete all the stuff like that. Cheers, Matteo signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

Bug#905032: krita: FTBFS against libraw 0.19.0
Hi Lisandro! On Mon, Jul 30, 2018 at 11:44 PM, Lisandro Damián Nicanor Pérez Meyer wrote: > How many rdeps show problems? You should not start a transition except you > have just a couple of cases. And if there is an API change then you need to > inform rdeps with time, at very very least a month (and that would still be > too fast). Packages affected by this same (almost) issue are three, all Qt/KDE connected, namely: kitra, kstars (#905034) and libkf5kdcraw (#905035). I'm not going to upload libraw 0.19.0 earlier than next week, at least. Cheers. -- Matteo F. Vescovi || Debian Developer GnuPG KeyID: 4096R/0x8062398983B2CF7A
