Bug#672684: Failed to compile kdevelop4 from source because of the same issue
Hi! I'm not able to compile KDevelop4 with Debian Testing (workaround below) Here is a complete CMakeList.txt to reproduce the issue. #> cat CMakeLists.txt project(demo) cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.8) find_package(Qt4 COMPONENTS QtWebKit REQUIRED ) message(STATUS "Test status" ${QT_QTWEBKIT_FOUND} ${QT_QTWEBKIT_INCLUDE_DIR} ${QT_QTWEBKIT_LIBRARY}) Looks like the issue is related to multi-arch support in libqtwebkit-dev because libQtWebKit.so is missed from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu #> dpkg -L libqtwebkit-dev | grep '/usr/lib' /usr/lib /usr/lib/pkgconfig /usr/lib/pkgconfig/QtWebKit.pc /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.prl /usr/lib/qt4 /usr/lib/qt4/plugins /usr/lib/qt4/plugins/designer /usr/lib/qt4/plugins/designer/libqwebview.so /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.so #> dpkg -l libqtwebkit-dev ii libqtwebkit-dev 2.2.0-3 Web content engine library for Qt - development files The following workaround 'fixes' the issue until the package is really fixed: #> sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu Hopefully it helps to fix the issue. Bug#655066: plasma-desktop process eats nearly 100% of CPU time
Package: plasma-desktop Version: 4:4.6.5-4 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, After several hours of launching KDE session or restarting plasma-desktop process manually, it starts to eat more and more CPU time, until it eats up to 100% of it. libqt4-dev: unable to install, strange "broken packages"
Have a good day. My system is debian lenny, i686. apt-get refusing installation of package libqt4-dev with following messages: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libqt4-dev: Depends: libmng-dev (>= 1.0.3) but it is not going to be installed Depends: libpng12-0-dev Depends: libjpeg62-dev but it is not going to be installed Depends: zlib1g-dev but it is not going to be installed Depends: libfreetype6-dev but it is not going to be installed Depends: xlibmesa-gl-dev but it is not going to be installed or libgl-dev Depends: libglu1-xorg-dev but it is not going to be installed or libglu1-mesa-dev but it is not going to be installed or libglu-dev Depends: libxft-dev but it is not going to be installed Depends: libpq-dev but it is not going to be installed Depends: libsqlite0-dev but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages --- Before it I successfully executed "apt-get update". All dependency packages are accessed right. Then I manually installed all of these needed packages, but this error remains. Where is my mistake?
