The primary code path is retrieving this information from qttools5-dev's Qt5HelpConfigExtras.cmake which has it set to "${_qt5Help_install_prefix}/lib/qt5/bin/qcollectiongenerator". > extra-cmake-modules's assumption on how to find qhelpgenerator is not > presently valid. We'll either have to reinstate the assumption or make > extra-cmake-modules not assume that. > > Now I need your input on which package we need to touch. As I said before in #915122, the correct fix is: - Cherry-picking commit [1] for extra-cmake-modules or updating it to 5.53.0. - Making all affected packages build-depend on qttools5-dev. Dear Maximiliano (Cc-ed), I noticed that you updated the packaging to 5.53.0 in Git. Are you going to upload it to sid? If no, can you please cherry-pick the mentioned commit, or will you mind if I do it myself? Dear maintainers If a patch providing Antonio's proposed stop-gap message is provided, is it still possible for print-manager to get into buster? In that case, I may possibly try to hack something like that. Thanks for your work and consideration! -Steven

Hello Johannes, dear Maintainer, tried to reproduce the hang here but just got a NV4B and NV108, while your NVA5 is somewhere between, and with both I did not get such a freeze ... Bug#918410: [qtcreator] qtcreator freezes during startup
tag 918410 unreproducible moreinfo thanks Please try the following: a) Try opening Creator in a new user (you can also move stuff in ~/.config/, but that's more involved, as you have an rc file and more data inside QtProject). b) Open Qt Creator and go to Help → About plugins. Then be sure to disable whatever plugin has "Clang" in it. Close Qt Creator and try again. This can also be video related, in which Clang might be related too (X stuff is built with it). Note that I'm not saying that Clang is the culprit, but just suspecting this. Bug#918853: [qtcreator] ClangRefactoring impacts code model and causes crash on exit
Package: qtcreator Version: 4.8.0-1 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- When starting qtcreator with the ClangRefactoring plugin enabled, the code model seems to get confused (Pressing F2 to jump to the implementation of a method, as well as showing uses of a symbol does not work anymore). Also, when the plugin is enabled, I get a segfault on exit. If the plugin is not loaded, both problems disappear. Can you tell us which exactly was? In this way: - other users reading the report might benefit from it - we might end up finding a proper solution Thanks!

With QT_XCB_NO_MITSHM=1, qtcreator does not freeze for me. Johannes P.S.: I did read your other mail regarding testing without clang-related plugins under another user. Disabling those plugins under the same user does not change anything. I hope I can test with a fresh user tomorrow… signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.
Bug#918864: calligra FTCBFS: uses try_run to check for iconv
Source: calligra Version: 1:3.1.0+dfsg-4 Tags: patch User: helm...@debian.org Usertags: rebootstrap calligra fails to cross build from source, because cmake checks for a working iconv using try_run. Doing so is a good thing in principle and should be kept for native builds, but it is not something that can work with cross builds. Given that the check is quite specific to calligra, I propose that debian/rules provides the check result for cross builds only. The attached patch implements that. It doesn't make calligra cross buildable, but that's hardly surprising given that it fails natively on the buildds. Please consider applying it.
