Bug#882396: kmines: obsolete conffile left behind

2017-11-22 Thread Sven Joachim
Package: kmines
Version: 4:17.08.3-2
Severity: normal

Upgrading kmines from 4:16.08.3-1 left the obsolete conffile
/etc/xdg/kmines.knsrc on my system. Please refer to
dpkg-maintscript-helper(1) and dh_installdeb(1) how to properly clean up
obsolete conffiles.

Note that the file has been dropped upstream in version 16.2.1, see
https://cgit.kde.org/kmines.git/commit/?id=188274511a1bdae7b206372f7610854312212d8e.

Everything points to the qtchooser issue.

Check for give back instructions on: https://release.debian.org/wanna-build.txt

A short excerpt:

 gb is a "give-back" - a request to set the package's state to *needs-build*,
i.e. to ask the buildds to try building it again, as if it was a new upload.
A give-back does not directly move a package to the needs-build state, it
first moves to "BD-Uninstallable", where it stays until the wanna-build
system has ensured that build dependencies are installable. This check is
done on a regular basis, several times a day.

Good luck!

Hello,

Currently, we have 6 versions of the llvm toolchain in the archive.
I would like to move to 3 versions (4.0, 5.0 and snapshot, aka 6.0)

Could you please update your package to use 4.0 (or, better, 5.0 which will be
released very
soon)?

I will update the severity of this bug at the end of September

Thanks
Sylvestre

Bug#881015: Info received (Bug#881015: Massive memory leak in ksmserver)

2017-11-22 Thread Julien Aubin
Hi,

It looks like launching 3D video games like American Truck Simulator or
other ones tends to trigger the leak.
Before launching the game, letting KDE run for one night : 4 GB total
memory consumption
Yesterday evening, right after closing the game : 5 GB
Now (early morning) : 7 GB w/ ksmserver as the top memory consumer
