  Qt 4 core module

4. Ctr+Shift+T no longer works
5. Alt+Shoft to change to US layout

You didn't run anything here, and you are using root.
This all seems a problem in your setup. Have you tried creating a new user?

Hi! I have tried this and looked at your screenshot, but I can't currently 
reproduce it with current version of Qt in sid (which is also in testing).

The problem might also be in another place. Are you using KDE? for what I can 
see in the screenshot, you seem not. have you tried using another windo 
decoration?
