Dear Maintainer,

On a newly created user even - and not only for "old" one - KDE ceased to log
out or shut down - after upgrade to testing.

I have tried in single mode t orun startx - the problem was the same - only
messages added on start up - that KDE daemon crashed and kdeinit4 got seg.
fault.

Package: kde4
Version: 4.4.3

After casual update of some KDE4 libs and Xorg libs and reboot, the KDE4
effects (transluency, acceleration,..) stopped working.
It's not a case of drivers I would say because it does the same thing on both
my laptop (intel C2D + intel integrated graphics)
and desktop (Athlon X2 + GeForce8500GT). KDE says that it cannot run any
effects xorg configuration I have (which already worked great
until the reboot).
I'm new to posting bugs so sorry if I put this in wrong cathegory.
