Bug#654342: kdepim-runtime: mysqldump fails to create a backup

2012-01-02 Thread Jordan Metzmeier
Package: kdepim-runtime
Version: 4:4.4.11.1-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I am not sure if this is the correct package for this bug, as there are many
associated with akondai. I am using a default configuration which uses the
mysql back-end. When backup is selected from the tray icon, the backup fails
due to the mysqldump command that it runs.

akonaditray(12003) Backup::create: Executed:  "/usr/bin/mysqldump"
("--single-transaction", "--master-data=2", "--flush-logs", "--triggers",
"--result-file=/tmp/kde-jordan/akonadiVm8ivq/db/database.sql",
"--socket=/home/jordan/.local/share/akonadi/socket-tesla/mysql.socket",
"akonadi") Result: 2

jordan@tesla ~ $ /usr/bin/mysqldump --single-transaction --master-data=2
--flush-logs --triggers
--result-file=/tmp/kde-jordan/akonadiVm8ivq/db/database.sql
--socket=/home/jordan/.local/share/akonadi/socket-tesla/mysql.socket akonadi
mysqldump: Error: Binlogging on server not active
jordan@tesla ~ $ /usr/bin/mysqldump --single-transaction --flush-logs
--triggers --result-file=/tmp/kde-jordan/akonadiVm8ivq/db/database.sql
--socket=/home/jordan/.local/share/akonadi/socket-tesla/mysql.socket akonadi

The problem is --master-data=2 arguement that it is passing to mysqldump.

The default configuration file it is using is
/home/jordan/.local/share/akonadi//mysql.conf

Binary logging is commented out of this configuration file.

#log_bin=mysql-bin

Regards,
Jordan Metzmeier

Bug#654346: blogilo: posting to xmlrpc appends xmlrpc.php no matter what

2012-01-02 Thread Simon L'nu
Package: blogilo
Version: 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-1
Severity: normal

hi,

I've found that even though you set the URL manually in the "add/modify
blog" UI, blogilo will append "xmlrpc.php" to the given URL, even though
it has scanned/probed the blog previously.

GET /blog/xmlrpc/ HTTP/1.1" 200
GET /blog/xmlrpc/xmlrpc.php HTTP/1.1" 404

That's after I clicked the auto-configure button. Why does it insist on
adding that file? yes, it's a slash, but that's how the blog is set up.

Make it stop, please. It should respect the given URL better. It
assumes a blog is based on php, which seems silly to me.

thank you

simon
