It is looking so, as it does, but in real it does not ! The file ~/Mail/trash should have the size of zero if the trash was fully emptied, but in real, the mails stay in this file. So the file is growing during the months and may be sometimes too big. Additionally there is a security problem with it, as the user is believing, he had deleted all (private or serious) mails, but in real, they are NOT. Bug 2: relating to the above problem, kmail crashes, when trying to empty the "sent-mail" folder. I suppose, there might be the same reason for both bugs. I wondered: ~/Mail/drafts has the rights 644, while the other ones have the rights 0600. I am the owner of all files, and never manually changed the rights. Which one is correct ? Best guess is that KDE uses a "seconds since 01-Jan" method of calculating which windows are newest to determine the order in which they should appear on the desktop. Bug#449068: kpdf menu entries overlaps with konqueror ones namespace
Package: kpdf Version: 4:3.5.8-1 Severity: minor When opening an online pdf from konqueror through kpdf embedded the "File" menu will acquire kpdf entries as well. The name of some of them will overlap though, i.e. the menu will show 2 "Save as..." entries, where the first refers to the html page or frame containing the document, the second to the document itself. A simple fix to ameliorate the interface would be changing kpdf entry as "Save pdf file as..."
