Bug#443688: kcontrol: fail to set left-handed mouse on start

2007-09-23 Thread Mario R. Carro
I can confirm this. The KDE mouse configuration is simply ignored.
To have the mouse working as I need it I momentarily added

option "ButtonMapping" "3 2 1"

to the InputDevice section of my xorg.conf

Bug#408092: Also showing up in mythtv

2007-09-23 Thread Ian Goldberg
I just upgraded a bunch of packages in my debian sid box, and I'm seeing
this same behaviour in mythtv, as well.

According to the tracing I've done so far, myth is actually receiving
multiple KeyPressEvents from the qt3 main loop. Here's the bt:

#30 0xb6297f13 in QApplication::exec () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3
#31 0x0806e482 in main ()

I watched #6 QApplication::x11ProcessEvent and saw that it is being called
multiple times when keys are pressed (it should be called 2 (one press,
one release), but it's often called 4 or 6 times).
