Hi, i am providing the unofficial Debian package, but I never had such problems. Except that the statistics plugin causes 100% CPU and HDD usage (Bug report upstream). Yes, that was it. I set my display size in xorg.conf and qt applications started working again. Thank you very much. On Wed, 2006-09-27 at 00:02 +0200, Flavio Stanchina wrote: Brent S. Bug#384325: Patch for Bug#384325: libqt3-mt: Floating point exception in QPaintDevice::~QPaintDevice
OK, thanks for the feedback. I can't reproduce that problem here, but then I'm not using fglrx (you are using that?). I've updated the packages at: http://people.debian.org/~chrsmrtn/qt-x11-free-test ... with some minor changes. Sorry to be a pain, but could you please test them again? I appreciate it. And other people can test them as well... If they still don't work (or your fonts are still hopeless) then I'm out of ideas for the moment. Qt should now fall back to a dpi of 75, same as X's default value, so the fonts may not be perfect, but they shouldn't be messed up like yours were. Bug#389844: khelpcenter uses htdig to build indexes, but htdig is only suggested
Package: khelpcenter Version: 4:3.5.4-2+b1 Severity: minor A minor annoyance. khelpcenter uses htdig to build indexes of manpages on the local system. Before the indexes are built, it will state that the indexes cannot be found and prompt the user to build them. The indexing process does not obviously fail unless you click on the more information button where you will see that htdig "failed" (actually not present to run). Perhaps khelpcenter should not prompt the user to create indexes if htdig is not installed, or perhaps warn the user that index creation will fail without first installing htdig. Alternatively, htdig can be set as a dependency of khelpcenter. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages khelpcenter depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.4-3 core libraries and binaries for al ii libc62.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-13 GCC support library ii libqt3-mt3:3.3.6-4 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-13The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 khelpcenter recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
