Bug#353561: akregator: Some articles cause Akregator to crash

2006-02-19 Thread Sukant Hajra
Package: akregator
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: important

Basically, clicking (right or left) on some articles of some feeds seem
to crash Akregator. Here's an article that causes the problem for me:

On Debian Planet: http://planet.debian.org/rss20.xml

There's an article titled: "Steve Kemp: I'd like to make a new record"

Maybe more helpful than that, though, is the following error message:

"akregator: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libXft.so.2: undefined symbol:
FT_GlyphSlot_Embolden"

Maybe there's a font option that wasn't compiled in somewhere?

Strange; it works for me (tm). Do you have kdnssd installed, avahi-daemon,
etc.? If you just upgraded some packages, try restarting KDE.

Thanks,
Christopher Martin

Does everything seem to work? I just tested avahi zeroconf support (what
kcm_kdnssd.so is helping with) and it works, though I get the same error.

Cheers,

Bug#353576: infinite recursion in filesystem

2006-02-19 Thread martin f krafft
Package: kamera
Severity: normal
Version: 4:3.5.1-2

We configured our Canon Digital IXUS 40 in the control centre and
were notified of a new "USB Imaging Interface" when we connected
the camera via USB, and opening the file browser makes
"system:/media/camera" load in konqueror. The pseudo-folder contains
another folder with the name of the camera ("Canon Digital ..."),
which takes us to "system:/media/camera/camera" with another
subfolder, which takes us to "system:/media/camera/camera/camera" ad
infinitum. Starting at the third level, we get an error message in
the main window, but the tree view on the left still allows to
navigate to other subfolders (always ./camera).

Is this our fault?

Bug#353582: kalzium: Typo in origin of silver's name.

2006-02-19 Thread Margarita Manterola
Package: kalzium
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: minor

In the origin of the name for silver, it states that the symbol comes from
"Agrentum" (silver in latin), and it's actually "Argentum".

You can validate this in: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentum

Please send this upstream.

Bug#353583: kontact: libXft.so.2: undefined symbol: FT_GlyphSlot_Embolden

2006-02-19 Thread Georg Wittenburg
Package: kontact
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi!

When using the organizer part of Kontact, the application frequently
crashes with this error in .xsession-errors:

kontact: ERROR: Can't decrement change count. It already is 0.
kontact: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libXft.so.2: undefined symbol:
FT_GlyphSlot_Embolden

This is possibly related to bug #316031 and similar to #353572.

Thanks for looking into this.

Package: knetworkconf
Version: 4:3.5.1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Upgrading from sarge gives:

Dépaquetage de knetworkconf (à partir de .../knetworkconf_4%3a3.5.1-1_i386.deb)
...
dpkg : erreur de traitement de
/var/cache/apt/archives/knetworkconf_4%3a3.5.1-1_i386.deb (--unpack) :
 tentative de remplacement de « /usr/lib/pkgconfig/system-tools-backends.pc »,
qui appartient aussi au paquet gnome-system-tools

I believe a conflict with old versions of gnome-system-tools might help.

Looking to improve performance in the bedroom?

2006-02-19 Thread Antone Mcmahon
Hey debootstrap,

You won't believe what I just heard. They said that there is over 76% of us
are over weight.

I was one of these people until I came across this site www.nxeln.org/n2/.

It gave me all the info I needed to change. All you gotta do is fill out
there 16 sec form and they'll get back to you asap.

"If the current negotiators cannot carry out their job … some changes
should be made so that the negotiators implement more serious diplomacy for
constructive negotiations," he told the semi-official ISNA students news
agency.

Tell me what you think after,
